Perhaps a demonstration 350w bike could be registered and V.E.D'd by the outlet for people to try before they buy, and show what's involved and where they can be used? Surely Shops supplying Unregistered S-class bikes haven't been allowing customers to take the bikes out on test rides thus far...

Maybe I'm a bit weird:confused:, but I just wouldn't hand over a large sum of money for a car I haven't personally driven on the promise from a Salesman that it performs as others just like it.... Mind you, I wouldn't buy a brand new car anyway-3 sons and a hairy dog make it pointless, nevermind...

I think the ebike market is quite similar to the new car market in some respects....I wouldn't dream of buying a new car without seeing it and driving it first-even though I can be fairly certain of what I'm going to get, I still want to experience it for myself before parting with the dosh...

You can also visit an AVE stockist and see the 2012/2013 XH-5/XH-7 models, as they have been using an upturned motor for some time. The newer bikes are using the Acive and Performance though, so normal positioning. For anyone concerned about AVE's future, as I was, they are apparently safe now...
