    New KTM hybrid

There's usually some sort of confection in our shop...but never for long. Give us a call before you come over to avoid a sugary disappointment.... Funny you mention Bewdley, as I live very close, and we did actually consider a move there to grab some of the Tourist footfall...unfortunately it's...

Can anyone recommend a good bike for hill climbing and distance

I meant that i've never come across one particular model with spokes that are consistently breaking...not that i haven't heard of rear Hub motor spokes breaking at all. I've also experienced broken spokes on conventional bikes in my time....though only 2 actually, and I was giving them some welly!

    BH Emotion serious problems

I like the Neos, but it sounds like you're having a really bad time with this bike, and I'd consider a full refund or exchange by now. If this bike is consistently failing you there is something very wrong that needs addressing, as long as it's not down to customer expectation versus actual...

Can anyone recommend a good bike for hill climbing and distance

The spoke defficiency seems to be have confined to the first generation of Neo's,and it appears that Emotion have sorted it out now.....got to be honest, i've never experienced this situation with other Hub motors, so I don' thnk it's inherrant to a rear Hub motor but more a "Bad Batch" of...

Can anyone recommend a good bike for hill climbing and distance

Please remember that only the Neo range has had any problems worth mentioning, and the Bosch and Panasonic variants work just as well as any other brand with these systems...though I will accept that dealing with the Spaniards can be "frustrating" at times.

    BH Emotion serious problems

A complete wheel respoke would be a lot cheaper than forking out for a new bike...though I understand your frustration. Maybe that would be best before splashing out? The Neo range is one of the most powerful road legal bikes, and would be hard to replace for a like for like experience with style...

Where can i get a throttle like this?

Hi Steve, I have a Brand new one of these you can have for the price of Postage and Packaging if you like. Give us a call if this is of interest to you. It's wired Red, Yellow, Black, Green, Brown and White-can't tell if that's what you have in the picture.

Yikes...might as well hang up my tools and call it a day.....:(

    AVE bankrupt

If you could get one for around £1000-£1200 in immaculate condition i'd say it was worth spending £500 on a battery....only downside is it would weigh more than the brompton at 20kg with the battery on (which is still light though).

    AVE bankrupt

They are brilliant.....probably the only 20" wheeled bike i've ridden that feels (almost) as stable as "a proper bike"....Really like it with the older bosch HMI- just a shame the new models are so expensive for the sake of a few changes to spec...excluding new bosch motor additions of course...

Cost of new batteries - re Wisper

Hmmm....we asked Wisper Freego for a price for a 14Ah kettle "connector" type battery, and were quoted the £399. A 16ah battery for Wisper 705 – RRP £525 inclusive of VAT – Awaiting stock Maybe whack another £15-£20 on top for delivery costs...

Cost of new batteries - re Wisper

Got this price from Wisper for a kettle connector battery earlier this week.... Kettle lead type battery – RRP £399 inclusive of VAT – Item in stock Don't know who quoted that £500+ price, but it seems a tad topheavy to me.

    New 2014 Panasonic Motor

We recently took receipt of 2 pre-ordered KTM Amparo 8M RT bikes powered by the new Panasonic Motor. These were ordered for a Gent with specific braking needs, so the Back pedal brake was just the ticket for him. His Wife opted to have the same bike to simplify matters...and was pleased to have...

On the 3rd day of Christmas The London Electric Bike Co ....

The battery should be completely white all over...no black on it at all. It looks like a white Race cover on a different battery for some reason. I've sold a lot of Neo's, and never seen one like that.
