    Brexit, for once some facts.

Some great marketing speak from Cannondale on this one... “Prices are not going up because of Brexit, but because of the weakness of the pound following the Brexit vote.” so not at all Brexit related ...

So you're also proposing we break up the UK because that's a cluster of individual countries that must make agreements that could and will damage themselves for the benefit of all. Then when we're left as England (the bit I happen to be in) You're proposing we split that up in the regions, as...

well I found this useful.. One to show people when they talk about hard and soft Brexit. The vote was the leave the EU... yes? Just the EU?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'm no fan of the current conservative government, but currently a snap general election wouldn't benefit anyone I suspect. Also with the new fixed term rules its very unlikely. To be honest I think our best hope of solving this mess is we give the Tory Government the way out they are looking...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

This is a fundamental problem... you're looking at the EU like its some foreign thing imposing things. Currently we are the EU. We are one of the decision makers, its not imposing anything we didn't agree with. I really wonder if people's view of the EU would be different if the buildings...

we have to try. Brian Cox shared this earlier today. 'Against stupidity we are defensless'. But we have to try. It begins with politicians not pandering to the stupid, who are still a minority With a link to this.... pretty wise if you ask me. followed up with this... which I totally agree...

Well, want Brexit, or not... it does appear to be falling apart at the seems doesn't it. "CARDIFF – The National Assembly for Wales has today passed a motion calling for “full and unfettered access to the European Single Market, through membership of the EEA and/or EFTA”. and as we know soft...

don't want to wind you up, but I think you mean a third one don't you? The one in June 2016 was already the 2nd referendum on our relationship with the EU ;)

I thought this thread was about facts... so it will go on as long as there is a need for facts about Brexit. There have been two chances for the public to vote so far in 2017. Both were last night. They both show a crazy swing. So that's Lib Dems gaining from Labour in a massive leave area...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

if you're proclaiming to be correct, it helps if you're correct. The majority of the voting public did not vote for leaving the EU. The majority of the people who voted, voted to leave the EU, and thats not what you said.... They voted for a host of reasons. The majority was 13-12, that is...

I have zero contempt, you're confusing my concern and empathy with contempt for some reason. I know many people who are on the breadline, it is these people who will suffer most, any small increase in costs of food, fuel etc etc with no corresponding increase in wages will effect them the most...

yes, but you've quoted Steven Woolfe, who's talking about the BOE report, and he's read it, and decided to add some spin. He's not done his own report. Also, you done the same thing... I chose the example of the lass in a chip show, because is was in the news recently. I could just as easily...

LSE was just one of the sources... every single independent study has proved its a fact. I'm a real person, and I'm also saying FOM hasn't had a significant impact on wages. The fact you're attempting to argue with things like this...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There already is an EU law that allows the UK to do this. The UK chooses not to do it! So yet again the "problem" is the UK and not the EU. We can refuse to give benefits to people not from the UK etc etc...

again... that's a daily mail view - not backed up by actual fact. The reason farmers and others employ migrant workers is because they need to, because locals won't do the jobs. Its not about money. https://www.ft.com/content/7ceb876c-b58d-11e6-961e-a1acd97f622d if there was loads of local...

can we call it what it is... its not a levy... its a fine. Its a £1000 fine for choosing, or having to choose a worker from a certain area because the skills aren't available locally. So whose fault is that? Local government, local education, local people? I'm pretty certain its not the...
