Context is everything! I do what I am paid for even while having lots of time to be on the web.
I'm amazed that our resident "Thought Policeman" hasn't rounded on you for your "Robust" terminology tillson.
He would cerrtainly have had a fit and wet his nappy had I resorted to such descriptive and forthnight terminology.
I have learned something new today, being in support of Brexit results in him granting an "indulgence" for transgressions against the code he applies to remain supporters.
Someone help me here, what is the word for someone who behaves like that?

There is indeed a very puzzling dichotomy in attitudes to sex these days and you have a point flecc, also of course without these faux outrages, the gutter press would be starved for headlines and face ruin, and as for the notion of expecting "integrity" from public figures, well that is a joke along these lines.

I'm self employed so the argument with my employer involve some inner conflict and thinking about dead lines and the bottom line. i wouldn't worry so much IF Damian Green was treated exactly like other employees (i can imagine most turn a blind eye to browsing non work related stuff, but wouldn't do so to porn). i also really do not think he is doing his job (which with brexit should be keeping him busy). then there's the issue of porn addiction, i have a hunch green may well have been looking at more than pretty girls in tiny outfits. if I were to try to get on a moral high horse id say there is a boundary issue in there somewhere, haibike does not employ crack addict single moms or coerced illegal east European illegal migrants (which I experience as bad karma).
yes, I guess if I were paying someone £250k a year (as we do through tax to green)all my natural hypocrisy would get going and i'd go ballistic if he didn't do 80 hours a week..
That’s fair enough, but there needs to be consistency in the way we deal with such incidents. We see ordinary employees sacked and their families put through financial hardship for such acts whilst the likes of Green get away with it. The inconsistency and disparity in the way different groups of people are treated for exactly the same act undermines credibility.
If Green is going to get away with it, reinstate and compensate those who have been fired for doing exactly what he has done.
Now you shouldn't really knock opera, after all it does keep the hooligans off the street!
There is an upside to this apparently Davis has threatened to resign if Green gets the push, this is a golden opportunity for him to to a Cameron or a "Boris" and bale out before he cops any flak.
Not my bag, in my uncouth youth I was a trad Jazz fan, and played the skins too when the bands doing a gig had drunk too much beer.
Hull Jazz Club was that sort of outfit.
Frequently there was little difference between the Drunken Band and the Drunken Audience stand ins, especially as the night wore on.

Thinking of that old Nissen Hut with the one 60 watt red light above the stage takes me back......
We used to get all the big names like Chris Barber and Acker Bilk after they had played for money at the City Hall, they would Taxi down to "Windsor Hall" (no relation to the other one) and play for Beer (sometimes they even paid for it) and frequently still be there at Dawn.
There were never any complaints about the noise as the lutwaffe has cleared the area all around the Hall, and thus any German Jazz band that visited was greeted with gratitude.
