    Brexit, for once some facts.

But, I suspect that camper-vans etc. are only a small proportion of the vehicles on the roads and could be exempted. Most vehicles are cars and changing all of them to electric will achieve the requirements for clean air etc.

    Battery

Agreed, I have one volt meter, 4 batteries and 4 chargers. They all read 41.6 volt, so I guess that the meter is reading slightly low

    Battery

Is this claim true? As far as I can see, it is the BMS in the battery, not the charger that switches off.

    possible dying battery pack?

If it is the battery, do not rush out and buy another one but send your old battery to Inmarsat. They will open and check it, as said above, might be just a faulty cell. In any case it will be cheaper to get the case re-celled.

    Interesting Electric bike

Safest thing to do is ignore Andy-Mat. He has only recently arrived yet strongly suspected of having been on this forum under different names in the past. He scours the internet for answers to questions posed by newcomers, then often posts partial or wrong information. He delights in pouring...

    Battery weather tight

The difference was though that the Police cape was a heavy woollen affair that did not blow around. As a teenager I had one of the traditional oil cloth capes, less likely to blow about, but after a year or two, it turned into a sticky glutinous mass!

    Battery weather tight

I have used evostick to seal where any cable goes into a device. For the LCD display I rubbed grease into the joint between the clear plastic face and the casing. Also, I set mine slightly loose on the handlebar, so in bad weather I can turn it upside down.

What I would like to know (and see a video of) is how easy are they to take off.

    Full Throttle ebike legal again!

The problem with statistics like these is:- If there is only 1 in a million chances that you will get on the same plane as a person carrying a bomb, And only 1 in ten billion chances that you will get on a plane with two persons carrying bombs, then the logical thing to do is carry a bomb yourself.
