    ~Is 15 MPH enough? Discuss

I believe the cut off is more than adequate for an "Electrically ASSISTED Cycle". I tend to cycle at around 18mph on most bikes under my own steam the majority of the time, so the assistance only kicks in when i really need it....when i naturally slow down for whatever reason-hills being the...

    Which bike do you own

Could you just have an accessible database spreadsheet type thingy, where people enter their own info by following a link? Think Google documents do one.

Nose Weight and Tow Bar Mounted Cycle Racks

The best Towbar cycle carrier i've ever come across is the Westfalia BC60-it is an electric bike specific(60kgs) foldable and lockable carrier-very good!

I have a brand new bike...

It's probably the screw together connector from the console to controller, they often need finger tightening upon arrival....just below the handlebars, the silver "gnurled" finger screws...don't overdo it though!

    Kalkhoff's shameful documentation

In my experience it is EVERY E-bike manufacturer that supplies a rather poor manual/manuals-always something left uncovered. I try to go through every adjustment with the customer on the day of purchase/collection to ensure they know how best to keep their new bikes operating correctly.

    Yippee, gone and done it.

Would also have prefered the battery to be black....but hey, you can't have everything...still think it's lovely despite that though. Also, my favourite bike this week is mostly the Emotion Neo Jumper-which doesn't have an ugly battery.

    eZee Quando stolen, possibly?

Hey John, If you'd like to pm me the details of the customer with missing key including frame number etc, i will check our records for you-we kept a key of almost every bike sold.....though it will take me literally hours to find,as a certain someone i work with dropped all 3 boxes of keys and...

    Price Increase

I think we would all import the cheaper bikes from abroad if there was someway of getting warranties honoured over here.....plus the cost of shipping one bike from Australia may be prohibitive, though i haven't researched it myself.

    Price Increase

Unfortunately not every outlet will have updated their sites with reference to the new range of Emotions just yet,but the bikes will only be available at the new prices. We were informed first of the changes as we took receipt of the new demonstrators last week from the distributors...there...

Indeed...maybe "value" of Pound vs Euro would have been more appropriate:o

    Price Increase

Hi Croxden, Unfortunately the distributors have increased the prices of the entire range from Emotion, due to the strength of the Pound vs Euro -this applies to all new bikes ordered as of a few days ago.

    BH Emotion E-bikes..availability in UK?

Looking at the picture in my album() you can see two different types of motor on the Neo's. I can tell you that the 3rd and 4th bikes along are our own Brand new stock-and appear to have the smaller diameter motor....the demo bikes have the larger diameter motor, and i think it's safe to assume...

    Helmets again

I like the look of some of those snowboard helmets...but are they tested in the same way as "proper" bicycle helmets? Snow isn't as hard as concrete/tarmac. I would like to be sure if i was going to bother at all.
