I feel your pain... I have the same cells in my 10.4 Ah bottle battery. Use a lower assistance level and pedal harder, your battery will help you then. It is incapable of pulling you up steep hills without you giving any input. Do not try to modify the controller that battery isn't up to...

My '55 beetle broke the clutch cable, I drove it for weeks without one starting at green lights on the starter. In downtown Wellington. In traffic... No one ever noticed! :)

The Tesla giga-battery installed in Australia is already a nice little earner for the company operating it. The whole car feeding back to the grid idea is only going to take off if the owner of the car sees as much financial advantage for himself as the electricity companies do IMHO.
