    Brexit, for once some facts.

There you were thinking Harry Potter was fiction but in reality JK has a dirty little secret - she wrote a documentary! All will be well OG, the wizards will save you!

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Some facts maybe? In 2016 you contributed less than Germany, France and Italy. France and Italy contributed much more together than the Germans. Britain is one of nine EU members that are net contributors. So your comment isn't very kind to the 7 other net contributors which aren't Germany...

    Real Life Range

IIRC the Bosch is 650 W peak so you must be providing 150-200 W and I guess you aren't at 20 km/h on those gradients. I am still mulling the conversion to 10 speed 50-34 and 46-11. The low end is slightly better than the current 48-32 and 40-11 but the Rohloff wins hands down for hill climbing...

    There is a page on power required for climbing at 20 km/h: 17% = about 800 W so doable with a 17 A controller and a 36v battery.

I found a very interesting Australian site on gradients: Extract: 0%: A flat road 1-3%: Slightly uphill but not particularly challenging. A bit like riding into the wind. 4-6%: A manageable gradient that can cause fatigue over long periods. 7-9%: Starting to become uncomfortable for seasoned...

    BMW Active Hybrid e-bike 2017/2018

They make some damned ugly cars too but they still get stolen... :D

    Would you even bother?

They insure them as bicycles and they insure s-pedelecs as mopeds. I think that makes them wiser than your English insurance people seem to be :)

Could this be used to charge an ebike battery.

One of them is a gorilla and he is pedaling twice as hard as the others so maybe I should have said "apes"? So in any case as they have to pedal constantly for 5 to 6 hours you will need lots of low hanging fruit to keep them going. That might cost a bit more than the electricity you would use...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

tillson you have to wake up to the idea that you are the exception, the majority of property speculators did not go through what you went through to get there, their money in most cases fell into their lap, probably from the bank of mum and dad...

Could this be used to charge an ebike battery.

If you have 6 monkeys pedaling home trainers with that fitted? Yes. There you have two opposite points of view, one realistic, one not, you get to choose the one you like the most.

    Would you even bother?

Insurers in France appear to be much wiser to pedelecs.

    Wallet busting Cube

This is obviously a toy and not a tool so cube are gouging as deeply as they can into the buyers wallet, good for them! It is only 1000€ more than the Orbea road bike... There are a couple of markets for e-road bikes: - older roadies or injured ones (there have been reports of injured pros...

    Gearing enquiry

Sunrace make a lovely 11-36 10 speed freewheel with 2-3-4 spacing as you go down the gears. Unfortunately the stack height makes it impossible to fit in anything but a 145mm dropout.

Yep them be freewheels. I think I paid less than that for a DNP 11-32 a custom made cassette and postage from Taiwan
