    which kit

I haven't tested it myself but I was told that you only have to scan the QR code on the bluetooth adapter with your android phone, accept to install the app, then you have a copy of the LCD on your phone with a few extra functions. It may be not much but I need it for a bike hire project.

    which kit

I have just got mine. About 50 arrived yesterday at Woosh. it's dead simple to fit. Unplug the LCD, plug the bluetooth inline. Here is the demo Big Bear with bluetooth fitted:

excellent find SW. They'll sell out in no time. At this price, who'd want to buy Chinese??? edit Indeed, they have just sold out.

250 watt is it a myth?

the lifetime of ball bearings seem to be on the par with BBS02. how long do you reckon you will keep this bike?

250 watt is it a myth?

likely yes. The crank drive BBS02 is awesome derestricted. Basically, the BPM will beat most bikes out there up to about 20mph. It accelerates faster than smaller motors. From about 17-18mph, the motor comes close to its noload speed, its yield drops fast, you won't get much more speed than...

250 watt is it a myth?

the BBS02 is too powerful for hub gears, even for the 3-speed SRAM. you have to have derailleur. The BBS01 work well with any hub gear, perhaps not with the SRAM 2-speed automatix though, a bit too limited.

250 watt is it a myth?

8,000 miles - that's impressive. Superb testament for German engineering. I don't reckon the BBS02 will match that. Did you have the motor serviced at anytime?

250 watt is it a myth?

the difference between 15A and 25A controller. you do need a 15Ah battery with high discharge to ride fast.

250 watt is it a myth?

you can get about the same performance to the s-class pedelecs by converting a good bike with the BBS02. A fair bit cheaper too.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the Supreme Court allows Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to have their say in the upcoming appeal. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38027230 I honestly can't see how Mrs May can win. She seems to use the Court to explain why article 50 is still not called. If the EU confirms that...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I can't see anything wrong with dual or even tri nationality. If you find you have plenty of empathy with the people and places where you live then why not? My children are thinking of naturalisation because of brexit. A common passport removes that important division of them and us, we and you.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

you could substitute the country of birth for the country that issues the person's passport. Someone pointed out that in the US, a refugee gets nearly twice as much in welfare than a retiree on basic pension, hence the justification for Mr Trump's wall. There is a similar situation here...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

if you believe the last Natcen survey, although 90% want to remain in the Single Market, 70% seem to want Trump's wall here. maybe it's time for the EU to revisit the question of welfare. Who should pay the welfare bill? the country of birth or the country of residence?

250 watt is it a myth?

if it's new, then it's well below cost. Ex Ningbo FOB price for an equivalent bike with that Shimano kit is $1,100 each for one 20ft container. You still have to add about 30% to pay for freight, duty and VAT.

250 watt is it a myth?

I agree. The diferential between 20% drop in the GBP/USD pair against 10% drop in the GBP/EUR pair after the referendum places good Chinese bikes between a rock and a hard place. If the ex China FOB price is under $700, you can still compete on VFM with German bikes but anything higher, it's...

250 watt is it a myth?

There is a review here if you haven't seen it before: http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/reviews/bike-reviews/juicy-roller-electric-bike Judging by the size of the motor on the pictures, the motor on the Juicy looks like the Aikema 100SX. Ask Cyclotricity. They call their depot, asking for the number for your local depot and whom to talk to.
