    Battery chager storck

Before you spend any money, how do you know the charger is faulty rather than the battery?

    Replacement E-Bike

As you know how to do it, conversion would be my choice, so that you can get it exactly how you want and be master of your destiny thereafter rather than having to take your bike to wherever to get it fixed. Apart from that, E-bikesdirect have the Wisper Wayfarer and a load of other bikes in...

Dutch bakfiets (cargo bike) conversion help

Roller brake motors have nearly died out now and most of those that are available are too weak for what you want. I found this one on Aliexpress. It's 255 rpm. which will be quite slow in a 20" wheel - probably about 12 mph with a half-charged battery, so that would be good if you want to ride...

Broken rear spoke. Caused by rear motor?

If one spoke breaks, replace it. If a second one goes, replace it. If a third one goes, rebuild the wheel with 14g spokes. Spokes can break for any reason, but when three in the same wheel break, there must be something wrong with the spokes, or the way the wheel has been built, or failure to...

    Replacement E-Bike

You need to tell us about yourself, how much you want to pay and what you want to do with the bike if you want to get sensible suggestions. Based on what you've told us so far, any bike should be suitable except Carrera or other bikes with the same Suntour electrics.

    Confusing fault

There's probably a setting in the LCD for 24v or 36v and forwhatever reason, it's now set to 24v. have you been fiddling with it? If that's not the reason, there were a batch of faulty LCDs on that model of Wisper at about that time. It might be worth giving Wisper a call to see what they have...

    Can't Start Bike - Broken Anti-Theft device

I can't understand any of that. What voltage do you measure on the battery terminals? Just give me the voltage.

Just as well it doesn't have a front motor!

    Mate city 500

There's no way in the world, you're going to ride that bike safely at 30 mph. It'll probably be scary at 20 mph. If you really want 30mph, you'd be better off getting a moped, which would be cheaper, comes pre-registered, will probably be cheaper to run, would have a much longer range and would...

Not really. The connector sometimes gives a clue.

Trying to find supplier for rear hub +colour display

Those big direct drive motors that you linked to are massive. when you put one of those in, you no longer have a bicycle. you can't pedal them without power, but if you want to get fit, that could be a good thing if you don't die of a heart attack. They're totally useless at less than 20mph...

    Vengeance battery not charging

Just in case you don't know, when you've selected all the things to go with the controller, it comes to $294 plus $90 shipping, then about £50 duty if you're unlucky, so about £330 altogether.

    Help with battery!

Not necessarily. Which battery or bike is it? If the battery uses comms, you can only replace with an official OEM battery.

    Bike identification

French bikes don't normally have a throttle, but the controller probably has a connector for one. The switch would probably be the battery on/off key-switch. Show us a picture of all the wires and connectors on the controller, so that I can explain them to you. Your photos don't show what's on...

Trying to find supplier for rear hub +colour display

If you want to go off-road, a crank-motor would be better. Hub-motors win on tarmac. Only you know what sort of riding you're going to do. In case you don't know the legal situation, to be legal, your bike's power must cut off at 15.5 mph and the motor must be rated at no more than 250w, though...
