Help with battery!

Hi sorry to bother and this may sound stupid to an experienced person. I have a 48v 13ah downtube battery. Can I simply upgrade to 48v 17ah? Much appreciated!

So long as it has the same voltage, correct polarity and connections then yep no problem.

Not necessarily. Which battery or bike is it? If the battery uses comms, you can only replace with an official OEM battery.

Not really. The connector sometimes gives a clue.

They use ordinary Chinese batteries, so you can replace it with any one you want.
