Oh god I think I'm on love...

Out of curiosity, because I really don't have two grand to spend on a bike, I came across this Kalkhoff and I'm in love: And the feature list is wonderful. Why oh why do I taunt myself! :) Link

Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

Aye, I was only considering it because it was the sure fit for a free hanging child seat. The Hamax Caress with Carrier adapter should fit on the Big Bear but until I got hold of both I can't say for sure. Similarly a normal free hanging carrier with some extension tubes might also work on the...

Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

Aye, we're on reserve list for a Big Bear LS for the wife (not a confident rider). I'm in two minds between BB, Sport CD or Kudos Tornado.

Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

Someone send me a couple bikes on trial and as a complete ebike newbie I'll give you a fair and honest review of CD vs BPM! :)

Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

How wide is the rear rack?

From the videos the race isn't something I want to see or care about as a prospective eBike buyer. I want an ebike so I can have an easy, leisurely ride, not one where I'm peddling like crazy, bike wobbling around on the road. I want to see someone whizzing up that hill with their legs sticking...

Has anyone mounted a rear rack to Kudos Tornado or Typhoon?

    Excellent, thanks Jim that's perfect.

Woosh Santana CD. Hill climbing and gear changing.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on hill climbing.

    Motor on Juicybike Sport models?

Thanks Mike, that's what I meant to say (SWX or similar) :)

Has anyone mounted a rear rack to Kudos Tornado or Typhoon?

Just wondering if anyone has mounted a rear rack on either of these bikes. They''re rear disc brakes, so I'm guessing only certain racks will fit.

    Motor on Juicybike Sport models?

Does anyone know what motor is on the Juicybike Sport models? Specs say '250W 36V, brushless DC motor' and it's on the rear, so I'm guessing a standard rear hub model and not a BPM motor.

    Woosh Santana CD gearchange quality

Pictures never convey how steep something is :) But your graph would indicate it couldn't manage a 15% hill on throttle alone, but the Santana CD is different than the Sirocco and Sport CD, which still indicate 6.5mph on a 15 degree hill in first gear. That's also based on weighing 75kgs, so...

    Woosh Santana CD gearchange quality

This is my point. The charts and text say the CD can do this but the BPM Big Bear cannot. Where does the truth lie? Having said that, many people are saying the BPM is the better choice and I think I believe them :)

    Woosh Santana CD gearchange quality

This is a fascinating discussion, especially to one looking at bikes and weighing up the pros and cons of CD vs BPM. What i find interesting is that the charts over at Wooshbikes clearly show the CD bikes can climb hills better. But I'm told it evens out if you factor in gear changes. But would...

Bike which will take rear child seat?

Thanks and good luck to you as well. I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

Bike which will take rear child seat?

On the reserved list for a couple Big Bears and was going to go for the Hamax carrier adapter, but reading the warranty, it's void if you carry more than 5kg on the rear rack. So I might end up getting the Sport CD and a regulars free hanging rear seat. Out of the two of us I can put in more...

Bike which will take rear child seat?

The Momentum looks interesting but perhaps not for hilly Plymouth. I guess all front facing seats need a flat crossbar?

Bike which will take rear child seat?

Tony from Woosh Bikes was very helpful and checked a local Halfords for the types of fittings. He suggested the same multifix bracket as Trex, so that's one option. Although we might need some bar extenders to raise the seat up from the battery. Another alternative I've just seen, which I'll...

Bike which will take rear child seat?

The Sirocco 2 should work with a rear rack mounted seat, although I'm not personally as keen on the design (I love the look of the Sports CD).
