It was the Russians screamed the right wing press. They had proof. They said it was a Russian submarine and even went on to show the route the alleged submarine chase and support boat took right in the area of the pipeline.
It was a false flag operation they cried. Russia sabotaged its only pipeline to justify this, that or t'other

Then there was an investigation and guess what, it wasn't the Russians after all.
It was the Ukrainians.

So just because the press can make an allegation, try not to throw all your eggs in that basket.

There are lots of autonomous regions in China. It's not a case of land grab but the tibetans are forced to learn to read and write Chinese among other things.

3 years of war and Russian army occupies less than 20% of Ukraine. The early opportunity to take large swathe of land is gone. 50km2 sound impressive but Ukraine still has 500-600,000km2, that's more than 10,000 times. Anyway, the front lines move back and forth atm. As time passes, Ukraine has developed her own arm making capacity. Most of the fighting now uses locally produced drones, shells and rockets.
If you look at the economy, inflation in Ukraine is half of Russia's. As for income, Russia rakes in a lot less from oil and gas. I reckon nato can continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.

Didn't you see this demonstration attack on that factory. There is no defence against these Russian missiles. It was a clear message to NATO. Imagine if they dropped one on the House of Commons while it was in session! They wouldn't even know it was coming at 3.5km per second. They can be fired from submarines.

Since the war in Iraq, advanced weapons have proven they just prolong wars rather than shorten them. Can you seriously think Russia can drop one of those hypersonic bombs on us without consequences? Many countries have hypersonic missiles too, including the uk and France.
