The public needs a good kick in the pocket to press home the seriousness of the current situation. Those who refuse to come together and make a few moderate sacrifices for a few days should fall out of any government financial help schemes. No furlough payments or other supplements should be made available to these people. The worst offenders, students at “University“ (excuse me for laughing) should be sent home if they party & socialise in the way we have seen. They should lose their £9K and not be allowed back on a course for 12 months.

These people are causing our hospitals to fill up thereby preventing other areas of the NHS to function properly, and they are putting health workers at unnecessary risk. They do it because they know that there are no consequences for them. That needs to change. They need to hurt and suffer very badly for their selfishness. Some are even calling Coronavirus a hoax. If it’s a hoax, they and their family won’t need a hospital or income supplements then? Scum.
However we need to take this into account

Chris Whitty doesn’t think Tier 3 measures will get virus under control - Sage asked for an immediate ‘circuit break’ THREE weeks ago

How many has Boris "accidentally" condemned to death this time by his indecisive lack of action?

Agreed, they should have acted more quickly and they should not have allowed the idea that Coronavirus had gone away to flourish. However, the public know how contagious this virus is. I’ve been exposed to exactly the same information as everyone else and even I can work it out. As I keep telling you, I’m very stupid, so if I can work out what needs to be done, so should the rest of the public.

If you regularly put yourself into close proximity of a multitude of differ people (family included), particularly in a closed environment with reduced ventilation, you are going to get it and pass it on. It’s not difficult to understand. That’s all you need to know.

People must stop doing the above for a few days. It will push the numbers down again and then we can all enjoy a bit of normality for a while. No doubt, further down the line we will need to do it again for a few days. This is not a big ask and if people refuse, government financial support must be refused. It would be dead easy to do this.

Im fed up with people moaning about how a bit of tissue over their face suffocates them and they can’t do it. BS. Or, how it’s affectin’ me mencal elf. BS again, they are just a bit pissed because they can’t do as they like.

I still don’t know what these new rules mean. Even red isn’t clear, You can’t do some stuff, but there may or may not be other stuff which you can’t do, but sometimes you can, if you live somewhere that allows it.

FFS, Red: stop mixing with everyone and stay at home unless it’s your job to do otherwise or you need medical help or provisions. Shut everything except essential services. End furlough for rule breakers. A few days of that should do the trick.

under Johnson‘s traffic lights, the idiots in Liverpool are now going to go outside the area for their mullets, perms, fags, ale and bookies. It won’t work.

Rishi should listen to your very sensible advice.
Put 2 pence on VAT, income tax and corporation tax and 10p on a pint of beer right away to pay for Covid.

Test and Trace. Well, they've got the 'and' sorted, just need a little more more on the 'test' and the 'trace' parts.

I’d be ok with that. 50p on alcohol, fags and gambling would be better, plus my end of financial support for idiots.

Even if are are a dyed-in-the-wool Republican. Even if you disagree with every Democrat policy. Just how could you vote for this thing:

“I feel so powerful,” he boasted to his cheering supporters, 11 days after announcing his infection. “I’ll walk into that audience. I’ll walk in there, I’ll kiss everyone in that audience. I’ll kiss the guys and the beautiful women – everybody,” he added, his voice still a bit hoarse.

Yesterday Boris said > "We’re now seeing a warning light on the dashboard.” Presumably he's had his head up his own arse past few weeks.

At least a month ago the lights flashing with rising rates of infection! esp. with students back and consequential to encouraging everyone back out shopping and eating / drinking and being merry as £££ were made a priority over public health.

Low oil pressure.

Car hasn't been serviced since new. Oil never even topped up.

What will happen next?

Gambling misery and the destruction of families because of addiction is a big part of UK industry. Plus, the operators are very friendly with government, so I can’t see that happening.
There are gambling issues further back in my family and they caused much misery. Indeed, in an odd way, gambling might have caused the death of my father.

I have never felt in the least like gambling. I tried a game of poker or two and lost. That wasn't fun.

UK police dealing with security alert at London hospital

Reuters Staff
LONDON (Reuters) - British police said on Tuesday they were dealing with a security incident at London’s St Thomas’ Hospital, with the nearby Westminster Bridge leading to parliament closed to traffic.

Police said they would provide more information when known.

Witnesses reported on social media that there were armed police present and that the hospital was not allowing people to enter or leave.

There was no immediate comment from the hospital.

That's after Nelly Trump threw out T-shirts to the crowds - and the audience was crammed in with no regards to distancing and mostly sans masks - couldn't have been planned better as a super spreading Darwin award winning event.
