We might do better if someone locked the government up instead They're as useful as an oven cleaner filled condom:D
It's a half decent bit of manoeuvring by starmer. It means the increasingly abominable carnage of the next few months will land and stay square in boris' lap
Edit - yes polly, it is funny to have a fat blonde psychopathic turd as a prime minister who disposes of the old and vulnerable for the sake of a few donors bottom lines. It's a real taste of how he will deal with the fallout from brexit.

I don’t think he will be here by the time Brexit starts to hurt. He will have done a runner and left it for someone else to deal with.

Apple launched the new iPhone 12 range today.

Something missing though! Their GPS spec. says: "Built-in GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou". Where is UK-low-earth-orbit-super-special-OneWeb-OUR-VERY-OWN-GPS?

(Even if it existed, how many phones will be set up to use it? I know we can use all the others for journey planning. But what a sad waste.)

Ah! I had missed this:

UK to 'reset' sat nav plans after scrapping work on £5bn Galileo rival

Some officials are believed to have pushed for the Government to examine a return to the European Galileo project

Bidens lead seems to be increasing over Trump. I just hope that many of these people saying they intend to vote for Biden do just that and don't end up not bothering to vote, or even worse turn out to be shy Trump voters.

I think it was the election when John Major won that I first heard the term shy tory voter, the polls had once again got it wrong and put it down to the fact that many people were too shy to admit in an opinion poll that they were going to vote tory but did so once in the privacy of the voting booth.

Or find they have been disenfranchised by polling stations (or whatever they call them) are two hundred miles away, no transport and you can't get there. Mail-in votes that can't be posted because the mailboxes are sealed/removed. Etc.

Some former presidents have done everything they can to enable smooth transfer of power and practical arrangements. Indeed, it appeared to become the final measure of a president's term - how well they handed over. A satisfactory handover is so obviously in the interests of the whole USA.

Trump took forever to even start to get going because he failed despite Obama seeming to offer everything that might have been expected.

I really hope Biden is prepared for the wasteland that will be left by this idiot.

The US system of election in early November and transfer of power in January is very broken in a modern age. (It and the electoral college made sense 150 years ago). It is especially damaging when the outgoing president is a dangerous ?????.

(????? not sure what word(s) best to use: maybe we need a poll. (1) Lunatic, (2) Psychopath, (3) Moron, (4) Idiot, (5) Lovely nice man, etc etc)

My NHS App has just sent me an alert to say the COVID alert level has changed hundreds of miles away from where I am currently living. The App is too stupid to realise I’ve moved to a different area for a while.
