Brexit, for once some facts.

That's right, Covid-1 is also a psycho-somatic virus, imagining one has contracted it induces its symptoms and consequent illness. In extreme cases of hysteria, death can result.

As such, it is just as dangerous to forum users and email recipients.

The only effective defence is to induce a blank mind state. This is why the majority of the UK population don't contract it, since a blank mind is their natural state.
.
And why it's so good of Hancock to stop giving us the daily stats as part of questioning covid as a cause on death certificates. It's much better for us to trust him and boris and not know the truth.

Barry if you read this story make sure you are sitting down and have no sharp objects close at hand as I think you are going to explode when you finish learning what it has to say.
I have read with interest that Guardian article. Why would you have expected otherwise.? the contract with the UK NHS, was of equal validity with the contracts to other locations. In Feburary, China was the most seriously affected region. and if Chinese embassy officials visited the factory in Lyon , it just showed how seriously they were treating the situation. The question the Guardian did not ask is how many visits were there from senior UK officials ? . Remember the UK waited until END OF MARCH to even acknowledge a problem... and that was because the FA and WRU had already made decisions. By end of March, Ireland was flying aircraft directly to China to bring back PPE

As the situation spins out of control with Covid 19 still an issue and Brexit looming we have this

"Parliament is in recess from 22 July to 1 September, which means decisions which have wide ranging effect on the country will be made without the input of our elected representatives. "

In other words Cummings can do what the bloody hell he pleases

Promising news from the Oxford vaccine trial.
Remember the Mobile phone ad with Custers last stand?

The Indians attack

His phone rings
"It's reinforcements!" he cries
The indians scowl and turn away

"There's more" Custer cries
"They'll be here next Wednesday!"

The Indians cheer and attack

Boom!

Actually, what the French did is just human nature. For all of our faults, and we have plenty, I don’t think the British would pull a stunt like that.

The British vaccine which is showing so much early promise and if successful, will most likely be sold to the French, and other nations at or close to, cost price. It could be sold at a price which would fill the economic hole left by Coronavirus, but we tend to be more benevolent than that. We can not say the same about the French, they would capitalise on the Virus, as illustrated in your article.

Their actions should depend on what the contract terms were/are. We are being told that the contract required them to supply the UK without any ifs, buts or maybes. If the company accepted those terms, they should have supplied us regardless who else came along and demanded preferential treatment. If they did not want to accept the terms, they should have rejected the contract. I am sure there must have been some consideration in the contract to assure our place in the queue so what did we pay for? Thirteenth in the queue, if we are lucky?

Anyone see how well the Irish tracing app is doing? Including in NI.

And the rest of the UK still hasn't got one.

Adding: Forgot to mention, they also use it in Gibraltar.

This is what happens if you don't do what Cummimgs wants:

England's chief nurse dropped from Covid-19 briefing after refusing to back Cummings

Ruth May tells MPs she was told she was no longer needed after failing to back Johnson adviser
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jul/20/englands-chief-nurse-dropped-from-covid-19-briefing-after-refusing-to-back-cummings-ruth-may

Confirmation of what we all think anyway, I guess.
Don’t forget that the government lied to the nation too. They categorically denied dropping her from the briefing. Their contempt for the public is complete.

And what if the Chinese, and Taiwanese contracts predated the UK contract? Note the text referred to epidemic emergency, not pandemic .

Predating in some ways makes it even worse. Yes, we know we have contracts with China and Taiwan, but we'll still sign another one which we won't, indeed, can't, honour.

If we're lucky, no-one will call us out.

Until we have some competent lawyers going through it all, properly, we'll not be in a good place from which to ascertain the truth.

You couldn't be more wrong about the French, have you never heard of Médecins Sans Frontières?

Now an international organisation, it was founded almost 49 years ago in France by the French as a charity providing free medical aid to anyone thoughout the world with neither fear nor favour.

Your point about MSF is itself entirely valid. Unfortunately, they seem to have attracted some severe criticism recently:

Médecins Sans Frontières is 'institutionally racist', say 1,000 insiders
Medical charity accused of shoring up colonialism and white supremacy in its work
https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2020/jul/10/medecins-sans-frontieres-institutionally-racist-medical-charity-colonialism-white-supremacy-msf

Of course, it doesn't mean that what they do isn't of immense value.

Yep, had it installed within 24 hours of its release. .. mind you not much call on it in France.

I'd seen that, but it seemed none of those involved are French or in France. Predictably Germany and Africa were involved.
