If you leave school at sixteen you have to go into full time education or an apprenticeship or traineeship. Apprenticeships have always been exempt from the minimum wage.
I don't think £10 an hour for an 18 year old is unreasonable.
You could be working night shift at 18.

I don't disagree with you there, but the general thrust of his speech was that everyone would be entitled to it. I think he is trying to get our youth unemployment rate the same as Greece and Spain
Corbyn did mention £4.35 an hour, so he was clearly speaking of the under 18s. Here's the minimum wage structure:

Corbyn is an idiot. The minimum wage never works - it just destroys jobs at the lower end of the market. When things cost more you buy less of them. eg. workers and jobs.

Where did he seem to be pro staying in the EU? it didn't seem like that to me, he viewed Farage as Insurance.

It was good to see Farage have to face some awkward questions from Marr for a change. He normally gets an easy time from interviewers who seem too scared to ask him anything difficult they just let him babble on about anything he wants.
How are we doing compared to the rest of the EU? Are we paying more, or are we paying less to people in these age groups?
