You would not buy a brand new car with bits missing and scratches plus a faulty display and accept it(unless it had been heavily discounted) so why accept a new ebike in that condition.

Just tell Halfrauds that you are rejecting the bike as it is not fit for purpose and refuse to leave the store until they refund you, It is well documented on various threads about the problems with this bike. I had the same problems and demanded a refund and subsequently bought the Crossfuse.

Maybe selling because their bike got stolen....
