Hi folks having bought my wife a new Juicy bike a couple of months ago i have now decided its time i got an e-bike as well (meaning i cant keep up on the hills) i am undecided between second hand and new and have seen a 2012 Trek fx + for sale and was wondering peoples views on this model...

They are good in Evans in Macclesfield bought a couple of bikes from them in the last 2 years and had no problems.

I totally agree with the respect shown towards the yellow jersey, however it could be argued that the eventual stage winner had the same mechanical problem after Richie Portes bike clipped his rear mech and nobody thought of stopping.

One of the best stages for years, drama all the way.
