This is a new one on me...or yet another new one on me!

My bike has 27 gears and it works great :-) TBH though - I rarely shift on the front rings, normally leaving it on the biggest - but I do use all 9 gears at the rear though - I like to pedal at the ideal cadence - any less than 9 speeds and I struggle to find the ideal gear sometimes - in...

New front fork required: Got the brush off from my LBS

Oh yeah - forgot about the stem :-( The upper and lower bearing races are what you need to know out of your frame in order to fit new ahead ones (even though occasionally they are the same).

New front fork required: Got the brush off from my LBS

No point moaning about bad service from LBS just take you custom elswhere but in all honesty good LBS are tricky to find and 99% just aren't interested in our projects, so you're on your own. To answer your questions:- 1: It doesn't matter what you wear - they just look at how much money...

Help needed from those who have fitted the 8fun front wheel motor

Cable exits the LH side (if viewed from the saddle) - same side as the disc mount. Yes. Can you see day light? Yes? Then it's enough :-) I'll take a photo of the clearance on my Tongxin and carbon forks. No! Grind it off the hub!

Help needed from those who have fitted the 8fun front wheel motor

What model Bafang? There are some measurements here:- QSWXK http://bmsbattery.com/327-503-thickbox/qswxk-front-drive-brushless-hub-motor-for-ebike.jpg Looks like it wil fit - you could always grind a little off the hub if it rubs on the left (left looking at the pic - right isyou're...

Anyone fancy a gentle bike ride through town

I used to do **** like this in my early twenties - then I got older and it took longer to recover from the spills :-( Two broken wrists from mountain biking/snowboarding and two broken ankles from power kiting means I don't do stuff like this anymore - and I'm only 34 :-(

Switzerland gets in first with higher power

I think what alot of people are missing re Switzerlands new limits is it's a CHOICE - it doesn't automatically mean every bike will need massive batteries and stronger wheels/gears etc. You'll still be able to buy the low powered lightweight bikes if they suit your needs, but if you need a high...

Cool - not a lot in the warehouse atm. I've already got 63v10ah of Lipo on my ebike that I got from the cn warehouse last year - still going strong. Fancy another 63v5ah to parallel in - it'd be nice if I could get it from the UK.

Cyclist jumps red light & very severely injures pedestrian - fined only £800

+1 There is a set of traffic lights on my commute where I turn left into a side road that stays on red for a long time. I regularly ride up to the white line, dismount, push my bike on the pavement and remount on the road round the corner - entirely legal and within the highway code :-) I...
