Next week, Cyclezee will be taking delivery of a newly developed eZee battery for testing.

This is a pre production version of an 'in the frame' downtube mounting bottle type battery.

It is 37v with a capcity of 11.2 Ah.

The image below shows the prototype fitted to an eZee Torq.

Nice one John, for once a really good capacity at 37 volts in a bottle battery.

Thinks, an eZee bike with a triple setup, battery in the usual rear of seatpost position with auxilliaries in the carrier and bottle mounted.

Up to 40 Ah and 1460 Wh, at a typical 12 Wh per mile that would be an over 120 mile range!

Seems good.

Any idea of the C rate, weight, number of cycle and chemistry?

And other voltage configuration? :)

Hi Tony,

I had to get my calculator out as I ran out of fingers and toes;)

In actual fact you could have an even higher capacity triple setup by having a 20Ah as the main, 14Ah in the rack and the 11Ah making a total of 45Ah (slightly over 46Ah in reality because eZee always round capacities downwards and like nice round elegant numbers).

My calculator says that is 1665 Wh:)

We have supplied an Optibike rider who is participating in the London to Paris charity ride with 3 x 10Ah eZee batteries for auxillary power, but he will be using them one at a time to extend his daily range.

All in good time CWAH, they are still in the testing phase and if they don't pass muster we won't be retailing them.

Hi Steve,

Sorry, but can I just make it clear that we are not ready to retail these batteries yet.

Several have gone out to eZee distributors around the world for testing before a decision is made to put them on the market.

What you mean £220~£260? ;) :) :)
By competetively priced NRG, I meant in comparison to other electric bike battery suppliers in the UK........whatever their prices might be:confused:

Very few supplier seem to actually publish battery prices. If you look at the advertisers on the forum, only 50cycles, Xipi and Woosh show them on their websites.
