    No argument....

I think they take the same stance with Segways as with illegal ebikes - if you don't cause a nuisance and you don't have an accident a blind eye is turned.

Safe to run 24v Tongxin motor on 36v?

I ran my Tongxin on 63v for ages with no probs - just kept the amps down to prevent clutch slippage.

Trek / CST motor / Hydraulic Disc Brakes / Cassette

You'll also need to adjust the rear brake and the rear gears each time you swap the wheel as well as it's very unlikely they'll be in the same position for both wheels.

    Rack bag

I've not found a rack that they don't fit. And if you have oversize bars (14mm or 16mm) you can get an oversize rixen and kaul kit.

    The Dog Is OK

A swift kick to the head (the dog, not the owner) usually enlightens them. You don't have to accept it. I killed a dog that went for my 2 yr old daughter - the law will fully support you - although you'll still have to spend an afternoon at the nick answering questions.

Are these tow trailers really safe in the dark?

Conversely, 99% a non swimmers wouldn't be anywhere near the water in the first place - ergo non swimmers aren't at risk in the first place. It's the same reason why you don't get many people who are afraid of heights falling off tall buildings.

Are these tow trailers really safe in the dark?

I still think you've missed Fleccs point. Teaching people to swim then encourages them to participate in a risky activity - an activity that has a high rate of accidents. Swimmers think the risk has been removed by them having learned how to swim. Again I've lost the numbers, but the...

Any news on the AEG central drive?

I wonder how easy it would be to buy an AEG equipped bike then swap the electric components over to a better bike? I'm pretty sure my full sus bike has a better spec than any bike that will be AEG equipped.

    Anyone know about import duty?

I wouldn't say ParcelForce are entitled to thier fee - holding your goods hostage until the fee is paid doesn't sound fair either. At the end of the day, when Fedex pay my customs fee for me, they are providing a service I neither require nor one that I have asked for. Therefore they don't...

Are these tow trailers really safe in the dark?

So tell me Lynn, when I want to take the kids to the estuary country park that's 4 miles away, exactly how should I transport them there, seeing as I don't have a car that I can transport 5 people in?

Are these tow trailers really safe in the dark?

Oh, and in response to finding stories about injuries in trailer and then stating the you can't compare pushing buggies to towing a child in a trailer as obvioulsy to most people with an ounce of common sense the allter is way more dangerous:- BBC News - Boy dies after being hit by empty car in...

Are these tow trailers really safe in the dark?

I actually feel sorry for your grandchildren. Let's hope for your sanity their parents never take them canoeing, rock climbing, snowboarding etc which are all statistically more dangerous than travelling in a trailer.
