I think that's a lot smaller than the MagicPie 3 one (according to the dimensions here anyhow :

Still a bit of a beast though. However, it's apparently 6kg as compared MagicPie 3's 11kg. That's a huge weight differential. Maybe a good option for true off-roading machines ?

Isn't 370 rpm a bit fast for off road? em3ev.com do a DD hub 500W in a range of speeds, possibly the 275 rpm (220 loaded) 5.9kgs. Always more expensive than BMS, but quality and service by all accounts.

I haven't seen a crank drive option for $99 though. All the 2000kw - 4500kw trail bikes in the US are hub drive :

It's not a Bafang motor - it's a Cute motor.

And it's not new, they've been on the BMS website for about 6 months
