    Hi there

Welcome Popsicle. Whichever bike you like the look of, do make sure you test ride first as all have their differences and compromises. Buy carefully and you'll just buy once.

    Yamaha motor noise

I believe there is a noise amplification caused by mid-motors positioned up tight to the hollow frame. In the hub there is little or no such "sound box" effect.

Hi Suseka There are two shops in Norwich which stock Juicy Bikes, which you may like to add to your comparison list. Both will be able to offer test rides. Hope you get a chance to visit.

    Juicy folder

Hi NB @gray198 is over Nottingham way, from memory. I know his bike is well looked after and he is only selling because his wife doesn't ride it, for one reason or another. I think it would be well worth the trip for you. Perhaps if you send him a private message it might appear in his email...

    Hi there!

Atmosphere in Bristol is the most experienced in that city and have a very wide range of bikes to try. With your budget you can afford to try a variety of bikes there, rather than buy blind (and possibly twice) from one of the on-line only sellers.

    Commuting bike

Hi Paola I know you have a bit of a hill going north out of London but really that wont tax any of the 250W bikes. You have a wide choice so look for something you like, with pannier rack, mudguards and as many accessories as you can get and make sure you try it out. Hopefully against others...

    Hi All

Might be better to get a decent smartphone mount. Coming soon are phone apps to control your ebike making bikes more secure with personalised controller settings saved to your phone. Phone gps apps are constantly improving and mostly free.

About to purchase Kalkhoff Agattu 8 - advice appreciated

Sorry not to be clear. I am indeed talking about the pros and cons of carrying a spare battery rather than a large battery.

About to purchase Kalkhoff Agattu 8 - advice appreciated

Batteries perform best when used loads. What worries me about having 2 batteries is that one of them becomes forgotten. Better to use one bigger battery.

I think you may also benefit from a try on the Wisper Torque bikes and if you're south Manchester then we have one available at New Mills. Two batteries is not a great solution as each will need to be used in equal measure. The better and cheaper solution is the second charger to keep at work.

    Hello from Shetland

That's all useful feedback Andy, thanks very much for taking the time. I wont try to justify anything - beauty - eye - beholder, and all that - but I will answer your questions... I find the steering good - quite responsive given the rake. Suspension is built in. The quick adjust handlebars...

    Hello from Shetland

Templogin, if you like the look of Stromer bikes I'd be interested in your feedback about our latest bike due in shops during August - so I can't sell you one. But I'd value your opinion... (I'm thick skinned and prefer constructive criticism, especially with a new bike) First picture here.

Looking to buy two e bikes .

Your weight shouldn't be a problem - you'll start losing it the more you ride. Electric bikes are ridden 5 times as often as traditional bikes, so you will ride more. Find some to try at a local specialist rather than guess. Where are you? Welcome too :)

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

It's really not clear whether Trex has a commercial interest or has had any financial dealings with Woosh. If he does or has had, that would change matters significantly IMO.
