    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

It's just advice. I'm happy either way. But I honestly think you'd do well by adding a logo and actively appearing transparent.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

Just offering good advice that I truly think any trader would benefit from.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

I think any trader would do themselves a favour by being totally transparent. There really is no benefit in disguising a trade account.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

It's just my view in general, aimed at Helen, actually.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

It would devalue the site for everyone if all posts could not be accepted as honest. Honesty starts with a signature. Anything else is an attempt to dupe, and allowing that devalues the site.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

I think setting an honest and transparent tone is important. You do and people can see that. I'm sure it is appreciated and to your credit.

Events News: Spin London and Spin Manchester May 2016

Just setting up now for London Spin ready for Press Day tomorrow. Free Tickets via the link above are running out! Looks like a Brick Lane currey tonight (not a patch on Rusholme's Currey Mile). Hope to see you over the weekend.

[May 18, 2016] Spin London (London)

The two twin Spin events North and South will both feature a perfect mix of bikes, art, inspiration, fashion, innovation and music more in tune with a festival than the traditional bike show - both right up our street! We hope the atmosphere will be similar to the Eroica events we worship at...

Pedelecs frum makes me feel sick

I guess it's up to the moderators, but I hope they notice that not everyone is thick skinned and can be moved to leave an impolite and sometimes quite abusive environment. In the same way that we often (even in the UK) need guidance on how to queue fairly, I think moderating abusive posts...

Pedelecs frum makes me feel sick

Regrettably I fear we do, to avoid losing members who contribute great knowledge and skill. Being polite should be rule #1 and will quickly set the forum tone and culture to an extent where that rule is no longer needed, if applied rigorously for a month or so.

Please reconsider and stay Dave. We need you.

    Any other ideas...

There are loads to choose from, all with differences that can help or hinder your ambitions. Getting the wrong bike is easy and could end your return to fitness straight away. Take the time to visit somewhere with a range of bikes to try and you'll "find the one".

    Hi All

Buying blind over the internet even on the recommendation of others is just as silly as buying that Bosch. So definitely make time to visit somewhere near (50+ miles is reasonable for many who visit us) and try out any bike you are considering before you part with your hard-earned. Every rider...

    Making a shortlist!

You'd be very welcome, but do call those shops first to check stock. At this time of year sales are at their peak and bikes are flying out - we can usually replenish within days but it would be wise to check before you set off. Wherever you head for, have a safe journey.

    Making a shortlist!

You're dead right to try before you buy as each bike is different for each rider. I am away right now and can not check stock at York, Whitby or Edinburgh, but those may be equally far from you. At least all three locations are well worth a visit in their own right. The Batribike is similar...

    Hello from total newbie!

Hi AN Don't be intimidated - be inspired! Lot's of clubs now are happy to include e-biking friends into their midst. They understand that ebikes widen participation and that all cyclists are good, decent people. Welcome.
