    Advice on buying an E-Bike

Basic pas control is simply speed limited so you get full power until the speed cap for each pas level is reached.. It can be counter intuitive to start with - messed me up a bit at least.. but it only takes a few outings to get used to it and a simple crack of either brake lever is just...

    10S BMS balance wiring

Use a meter and the continuity setting to determine which end pin is connect3ed to common ground, and that will indicate the connection for the 'black wire'

Fwiw, Small aerosol pump spray bottles sold full of spectacle cleaning fluid are solvent resistant and can contain and spray 99% iso-propanol. And this is the perfect delivery method to get the glue releasing solvent into the nooks and crannies' of such containers as a battery box... spray...

A kt controller/display combo would probably sort you out very quickly and with its easily accessible manual help you id any error codes displayed (if any). Your looking at a further circa £100 outlay but will have a dependable control and interface system on your bike.

    Odd charger behaviour

Virtually everyone who picks up a meter for the first time is when they want to know a battery or other DC voltage value.. I think it was over 5yrs after i first picked one up when other features started getting used.. You could alternatively buy basic battery volt meter as sold by ebay etc...

Perhaps the machine screw/bolt used is too long and bottoming out in the spindle/axle before clamping tight, or perhaps some rubbish is blocking the hole or thread?

    PAS for Sprocket Rotation-query.

btw if you just need to bulk up the diameter of the hollowtech axle, gaffer tape is a pretty easy tear to fit the width and wind on solution thats gonna be 'weatherproof' for long enough for a proof of concept trial if not longer ;)

    PAS for Sprocket Rotation-query.

Pretty sure your magnet ring and sensor will be fine, if your lcd manual and Chenglish comprehension are similar to mine it might just be easier to cycle through the 4 or 5 pas sensor options to test than trying to understand the manual. just try to mount the ring 'straight' and the sensor so...

Shame.. i would bite your arm off if local, you only have a couple of things to check left, granted you will need a multi meter and its a tad more involved, but there are step by step walk through guides. But sometimes its best to remove the source of frustration.. so I get it.. Bikes fitted...

Saneagle above is concerned that perhaps your tools 'pushing end' is sized and shaped such that it pushes into and not onto the axle end. if so perhaps blutack and a small coin could provide a surface to push against?

Also - a smear of jbweld between the matting faces might reduce the shear strain on the screws

Torque Arm Installation - Rear Hub - Best Practice?

Cost?? Not an engineer, but it strikes me by the time the 2nd part of a 2 part arm comes into play the bike frame and or the first part will have already failed. I would go with your design and SS or extra strong machine screws to fix.

An old toothbrush may help clean out the threads of the tool and crank arm to perhaps enable a better fit when oiled?? Its the crankarm arm not so much the spindle you want to heat up to expand.. If you can get the tool to fit? fit it in place to protect the spindle/axle and use a heat gun to...
