    How about a wrap or two of "duct tape" around the stem, that should give enough filler, or a small section of 22mm plastic pipe, split vertically to open up the sleeve size to the stem size

    Battery problem - with background

    Its been down to 3c in the daytime here in Bedfordshire with times of really damp drizzle, add to that your airspeed and you have conditions for severe chill factor for your battery - it may just be feeling the cold!!

    Need Stand

    I have hooks on chains screwed into my garage joist/crossbeam. One hook holds onto the handlebars about the centrepost, the other hooks onto the back of the saddle. Adjust the length to suit your needs. They can be lifted up on themselves when not wanted example link below...

    My 1975 Citroen DS had innertubes as did my 1970 and 1984 2CVs. However when replacing the tyres for the first time on all the cars we did go "tubeless" and there were no problems

    Not a stupid question, but interesting. It is the oxygen in the air that seeps out through the innertube material. Aircraft tyres +F1 cars (at least) use pure Nitrogen to inflate the tyre. The larger nitrogen molecule has a more difficult time to escape thru the innertube so the pressure...

    Also do not use near dogs, industrial ultrasonic cleaners have a major imact on their hearing it must be like a continuous gunshot or screaming noise at an incredible decible level

    Candle wax is also brilliant rubbed on sticking drawers or doors or windows to free them up. I also used it on fence panels when sliding them into the concrete fence post groove.

    Only if they were gas turbines (jet engines) which would use something similar to paraffin called AVTUR. The Navy use stuff called AVCAT on aircraft carriers becuase it has a higher flashpoint than normal AVTUR and is safer in case of fire or battle damage. Otherwise it is high octane petrol...
