    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

I chose the KTM badge :) and its quite comfy, I'm sure I could change it to a FLi one, but that would just confuse people because now one outside of the trade really needs to know or care who FLi is.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

Yes, I agree with all that. I try to be an active member of the forum and help with issues with all brands of bikes and to help people understand things from an industry perspective. I also learn a lot. But its important people know that I have a relationship with KTM. I'm sure if you were...

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

That would make sense, but you've said in your posts that you design bikes for them, and post for them on here because they don't have time to. I don't work for KTM, I'm not paid by KTM... but when I post on here I am essentially representing them, so I have a logo. You really should do the same.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

That is EXACTLY the same as me! Of course anyone who works for any company has personal views. But when you post on here, because Woosh don't have time to do it, you are working for them.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

This isn't a hard one to solve. If you're working for Woosh, which you clearly are if you're handling their posts on this forum and designing bikes, then you need a trade login. Why is it a problem for you to get a trade login so there is no confusion?

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

if you post in any thread and your post has the word "woosh" in it... its trade related, because you work for them.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

no ... personally I think, if you're working for the brand, which in this case you clearly are then you need a trade account. or, if your posting about trade stuff, don't do it with your personal account, get Woosh to do it.

    27.5+ Conversion

I don't think you'll find many 27.5+ bikes that use qr axles, so I think it'll be impossible to convert most of them anyway, the awareness of 36hole rims will be the lesser problem for most people with 27.5+ bikes. However the rim size is new for this year, so more brands will start making them...

    27.5+ Conversion

650b+ is the correct name for the size. Its just the MTB industry wanted a term that riders could get their head around. We already use 26" and 29" so the logic was put it in the middle, so they use 27.5". The + bit means its wider, so half way to being a fat bike. So yes you could just...

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

... and maybe at the same time putting some public pressure on them to realise that what they are doing is counter productive. https://www.change.org/p/british-heart-foundation-bhf-to-allow-pedelec-e-bikes-to-enter-non-competitive-fundraising-bike-rides oh, wait, that is what we're doing ;)

    27.5+ Conversion

    650b+ not 650b ;)

    27.5+ Conversion

You're right... bit shocked by that... Marin are a decent brand of bike, looks like they've cut some corners putting a standard narrow back end on a bike that needs a lot more clearance at the bb end of the chainstays. Strange, but yes good news for the conversion.

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

Its only like big running events banning their participants from wearing headphones. They aren't illegal, etc etc, but its their rules for their event, so they can enforce them if they want.

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

its not a race, so you can't cheat! Also pedelec's are legally classed as bicycles, so they can't class them as anything else. How is a legal pedelec anymore of a risk than a normal cyclist??

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

We're constantly posting about it because its a big problem, and an important issue at the moment - that will effect us all. If the information causes only a couple of people to realise that buying a dongle or sPedelec isn't worth the risk to themselves or the wider community then its worth it.

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

This is the key fundamental problem that the people who think the illegal bikes aren't an issue - just aren't getting their head around. The people like BHF, or in the future the Foresty Commission, or National Parks etc etc. Aren't going to put in writing that they are banning all eBikes...

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

We are / I am... that's why we shared this! But at the same we will of course continue to highlight the negative impact of people riding illegally powerful bikes in the public arena and how this impacts on us all.
