    What is a pedelec

That's your opinion, and one I do not agree with. A pedelec is a bicycle with a low power motor fitted, which assists the rider when they pedal. a nice and simple device, that enhances the experience of riding the bike.

    Police crackdown on illegal e-bikes

I see the Dutch are kicking mopeds off cycle lanes, although congestion seems to be the main reason. http://bicycledutch.wordpress.com/2014/06/05/amsterdam-can-send-mopeds-to-the-carriageway/

    Leisure v Utility

Mine varies a lot. currently I'd say 80% transport, but that can swing the other way at times.

    Tyre Anomolly

Clearly the wrong tyres then. Not that this will help you, I have just fitted two of these in 1.5" on a friends bike to replace some worn out Big apple tyres. Amazingly even with 90 psi in they are more comfortable than the big apples, and roll very nicely too, we keep thinking a tyre has gone...

It sounds like you just bought the wrong tyres, which ones were they?

    KTM Corner

Here's one that doesn't. I'm not convinced by your use of motorcross riders being saints compared to e-bike riders is a particularly good one.

    Legallity

Misleading given you can register a motorcross bike for the road, that can then be ridden on the many byways that allow vehicular access and tarmac roads of course.

comments from strangers when out on your ebike....

I rode up the hill of a hill climb time trial just before the start of the racing yesterday, I got a few hey that's cheating comments, all friendly and warmly said though.

What speed could a 250 watt motor go?

Whilst not dead accurate, the following comparison of me versus one of the top hill climbers in the country on the national hill climb hill this year has me at 579 watts, and him at 359 watts, he was 4 seconds faster in that particular comparison. Those are Strava estimated power figures.

    Poor Customer Service - LEBC

That's in stark contrast to a shop I visited in Clitheroe, where I took my bike into the shop to shelter from the rain and have a look round whilst he got on with some repair work in another part of the building.

Hybrid Mudguards for KTM Macina Cross 9 ?

Ah just looked at my bike, and its the same, you just need a bolt with the correct metric thread then.

Hybrid Mudguards for KTM Macina Cross 9 ?

As has already been shown you can cable tie the Zefal guards onto the brake bridge/rear stays. I've done so with a weird shaped Giant bike. My KTM bridge has a hole so my guards fitted in a conventional way. I'm not a fan of the Zefal guards, but they can be made to work okay.

First Ebike Purchase review: ex demo KTM

I've just used a normal washer, it bent a little, but I've found the cranks a lot easier to remove than square taper ones. I'll get the correct tool one day.

First Ebike Purchase review: ex demo KTM

A normal one works perfectly as long as you pop a washer snugly into the hole with a dab of grease to hold it in place, before fitting the puller. Obviously the correct puller is better.

Bad experience with Kalkhoff Agattu XXL

A nice option for a track bike with rear facing drop outs. but not much good on the majority of bikes with forward facing drop outs I imagine. I doubt they'd actually fit on my bike, if they did they'd be less than ideal with the adjuster screws acting on the curved rear section of my frame...

Bad experience with Kalkhoff Agattu XXL

I did actually mean an Alfine one like in the link, but to suit a horizontal drop out, as opposed to a vertical drop out. If the bike has a derailleur hanger then there are lots of options available.
