    KTM Corner

Sorry to hear that. It certainly doesn't inspire confidence in the Panasonic hub.

caught for speeding with radar gun

Hmm, perhaps they should also moan about ordinary bikes too. ...

    Real mudguard?

Forgot to say that the 4 stays on the front is also overkill, I cut two stays off.

    Real mudguard?

Worth noting that those SKS guards could be short on the rear. I bought some and ended up having to buy and fit an additional flap on the rear guard, without it the rider still got a lot of spray on her back. You can just see the extra flap in this shot. My Dahon was like this as standard...

    Crank drive info please

Something similar, although I did use a second battery from around 29 miles.

    Crank drive info please

I wonder how you'd get on with that route on your other bike? One to try one day perhaps... Certainly keeping the speed down helps with range.

    Crank drive info please

I wonder at what sort of average speed those rides were without a dingle? Oh and forgot to say that's very impressive.

    Crank drive info please

You'll need a good 20 a/h and a fair amount of time on very low settings, or even off at times. Then you get into the realm of wondering if you'd actually be better off on an ordinary light bike.

    A Statement from Bosch

I don't understand what you're saying? HS2 isn't about slowing rail passengers down for instance.

    A Statement from Bosch

I shall look forward to seeing a much lighter crank-drive KTM racing bike with a motor system that fully uncouples all the motor and associated gearing when above the cut-off speed. and all within current EU laws. I also live in hope that a workable S-class bike class can be introduced here...

    A Statement from Bosch

I'm not arguing, simply pointing out issues you and Bosch should be addressing to improve your products. It comes as no surprise to me that you choose to ignore end-user feed-back though.

    A Statement from Bosch

I'm with mfj197 on this one. Until there is a change in the speed limit, e-bikes will have very limited appeal. In the meantime perhaps Bosch and bike assembly companies should be addressing the issue of making bikes with much less drag above the cut-off speed. It's also ridiculous to call a...

    Anyone good with cars?

One of the most reliable cars ever made. Rust will get mine one day.

    Anyone good with cars?

You could just rely on your chosen garage to diagnose the problem, it seems pointless replacing parts that might not need replacing.

    Fully UK road legal ?

I must admit I didn't fully study my Bosch motor whilst it was apart, my main concern was getting it back together as quickly as possible. However I'm fairly sure when the motor is off all the cogs and gears including the motor are still turning all the time, adding a little bit of drag to the...

    Up hill struggle

Worth noting that the crank-drive kits mentioned don't like gear-changes under load.

    Up hill struggle

I'm confused as to why someone would buy a bicycle and then want it to go up a 40% hill without pedalling? Are you sure it's that steep? and what's wrong with pedalling as well?

Bosch motor sprocket (2014) worn out ?

In that case perhaps you can share the bicycle available without a 1/2 pitch with us all? I hadn't realised they were available. As to those small front sprockets on the Bosch, I had a good discussion with one of the guys at KMC chains about the exact issues you're now having. They did say they...

    I think you mean width.
