Anyone know the best way to get a more upright riding position ?

My bike is a Kudos Typhoon (love the bike by the way)

Rather than the stem, I'd change the bars to a pair of Raleigh North Rounder bars. They'll make your riding position much more comfortable.

Whilst they clearly would work, not keen on the shape. Would prefer a stem type solution, just not sure which one

I had the same problem and went for 3" mtb riser handlebars & fitted a short reach stem

I have these (or similar) on many of my bikes. For me, they are the answer.
