    Death by dangerous riding introduced

What about Death by Dangerous Walking? A pedestrian walking dangerously (smart phone rendering blind, iPod rendering deaf,...) causes an accident in which a cyclist is killed: - knocked over, hits head (a helmet will not prevent a blow to the jaw!) - swerves to avoid pedestrian and is killed by...

    1.5V 3000mah Rechargeable AA batteries

I have no problems with 1.2v rechargeable AA batteries as long as you use 2400 Ah and above they work fine, 2100 Ah and below they do discharge too fast to be any use in a bike light for example.

    Battery not used for weeks.

Just the once won't do much harm but doing it repeatedly will shorten its life. You can make a battery discharger with 3 x 12v car lamps wired in series and bring the battery down to 38.5v (storage voltage).

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I read the article in the Guardian about "the speech" and I am even more confused than I have been up till now. When the UK did a lot of trade - other than speculating and money laundering for the rich - it was with members of an Empire. They were kind of a captive audience don't you think? I...

    Waterproofing Bosch System

I lived really near Condom for a few years. It was a real pain driving there because you would have cars stopped in the middle of the road so that American tourists could get their selfie next to the sign...
