1.5V 3000mah Rechargeable AA batteries

Over the years a number of devices I have tried to use rechargeable batteries in have been fussy about the voltage (1.2 rather than the expected 1.5) and if they did work then the amount of time I got to use the device for was not long.

I have been keeping an eye out for 1.5V rechargeable batteries and the most common seem to be the types from ebay sellers rather than any mainstream battery brand such as:

Has anyone got any experience using these or a view of their general suitability? The cost of these batteries seems to be comparable to normal no memory high capacity rechargeables hence my interest now they have hit this price point.

I have used aa rechargeable batteries for years in my flashguns when working as a Photographer and later in Hope Vision lights for night riding off road.
My opinion is that most that offer high capacities are probably fakes (many of which I have tried and found to be unreliable at best). Some time a go I came across these 2900's from Vapextech and have used them ever since. In a high drain device they last much longer than anything else I have tried but downside is that they run so far and then stop abruptly, but I think that's typical of all rechargeables..

I can absolutely recommend the company and if I need any batteries I wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

I have previously tried the alkaline based 1.5 volt rechargeable cells but found them very short lived, so certainly wouldn't try again.

I have no problems with 1.2v rechargeable AA batteries as long as you use 2400 Ah and above they work fine, 2100 Ah and below they do discharge too fast to be any use in a bike light for example.
