    Double battery problem

28 mm tyres! I'm too scared to do those speeds with skinny tyres at my age, give me a 50-55 mm tyre any day. My first bike had very twitchy steering at speed. Number Two has cheap Suntour forks which wash out at speed in corners so I don't go as fast any more. I can't see your photos so...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

And the EU is busy signing a trade deal with Aus and NZ... As long as you don't go feeding them hormones and washing them in chlorine chicken is great stuff, especially free range.

Marwood doesn't agree... 1. All your content published on their thing belongs to them to do as they please with. That is evil. Google Plus on the other hand is interested in the people who are interested by your content, not quite the same thing. 2. It is an advertising agency pretending to be...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You mean Romans as in migrants? Or, gasp... conquering invaders? And in those days it was the Picts - family of mine apparently, on crest of arms.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That is why there was a wall... The English loved the Scots so much they tried to starve them to death. Wait! Didn't they try that with the Irish too? Can we see some kind of pattern here?

Bbshd realistic range on full power

One word: LiPo... :p The only way to wean me of my LiPo habit would be a spot welder and a big box of Sanyo 20700 cells - 15 Amps and 4100 mAh capacity. A 6P or 7P 12S would do the trick. Missing from the equation are the € to make it happen!

    Is it possible to convert a BBS01 250 W to 350 W

If you go to 18 Amps and all things being equal you should get 79 km or about 20% less range because you will have about 20% more power (3 Amps is 20% of 15 Amps). You will be able to climb faster or have a higher top speed if unrestricted and the same gearing. I have run all the numbers and do...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think in UK English sovereignty means "we make the rules and regulations and the rest of the world follows them". Like back in previous centuries.

When riding on the footpath should I.....

We have a nice cycle path from town to high school just outside, along the river, lovely scenery, etc.. So what can you do when you are a town hall employee to improve that cycle path? Well hey! Authorise a guy to park his pizza truck on it and force the bikes onto the road to avoid the people...

    Tyre pressure query

I think that a hub motor is much better off with a large volume tyre.

It is the design, engineering and qualified labour that costs the money, not the raw material.

    Traction problem with Big Bear

That is part of the keep fit plan Rob! Not only do you get stronger legs but also stronger arms and shoulders! :) And imagine you don't need to lock it to anything, thieves can't just drive up, grab it and chuck it in the back of a van. Instant hernia! </tongue in cheek mode> Seriously...

Help! Is there a market for the Wisper Wayfarer?

For £4395 I can get one of these which will carry a heavier person and up to 150 kg in the box for us lighter folk... I wish it had a Bafang PAS motor is about the only bad thing I can say about it.

    KT LCD 3 POWER SETTINGS

A 20 A controller with a 48v battery will give about 60 W at assistance level 1 or 50% more power than the example above. You will notice the difference!

    KT LCD 3 POWER SETTINGS

Set P3 to 1 it will give you about 35-40W at assistance level 1 with a 36v battery and 15A controller, just enough to cancel out the weight of the bike.

You should steal inspire yourself from that design. Front disk brake, Big Apple tyres, a Sanyo 20700 celled 12 Ah 3P10S battery and priced accordingly.
