I never understood why some manufacturers do not like making their manuals available for download from their websites.

Sirocco CD battery rack sheared off, accident waiting to happen!

How long have you been riding with a seat post like that? I concur with d8veh's suggestion that the off-side arm broke, that would produce the rattle that your friend heard. The damage is repairable, contact woosh support for advice.

there is a relationship between weight and comfort for electric folding bikes. Greater comfort lets you ride faster and longer, contributing also to your safety.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I disagree. The anti-EU propaganda feeds on fear and mistrust. I lived a while in the South West where tourists are called 'grockles' and they don't even have to be foreigners, the sentiments are the same. Politicians like Farage exploit this and the referendum gave a chance to millions of angry...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

while the three brexit ministers still haven't got a plan, the economy is going to hit the inflation wall anytime now. No wonder Johnson is trying to get himself sacked from the cabinet.

    Battery

the weight of your battery depends on the type of cells inside. Best for weight batteries are usually built with cylindrical 18650 cells.

    BPM Bearing.

you can use a flat head screwdriver or something similar to drive out the old bearing but I use this tool: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heavy-Duty-3-Jaws-Automotive-Bearing-Puller-Pilot-Gear-Extractor-Removing-Tool-/122035454203 tapping the new one in is easier.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There are signs of a troubled winter ahead. At the moment, the UK current account is propped up with Chinese real estate buyers but they will soon slow down. Johnson seems to position himself for the next conservative leadership contest.

I wonder how often this happens?

: the speed may be similar, the acceleration and braking are not. Result: rims, spokes, brake pads, tyres and cables flex and wear out a lot faster on e-bikes.

    Conversion kit problems

your concern is justified. Spend £30 on a double rack that is made for your battery.

I wonder how often this happens?

we'll have to wait until KB drops in this thread to know why. her original thread was this: http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/is-a-28-mile-round-commute-too-far.17145/ We did give her good advice though.

Crank or Hub Motor. Which is best?

for short rides, I take the CD with rigid fork, for long rides, I take a rear hub with suspension fork.

    Halfords

maybe it's time to have another crank v hub fight? Bewo, who makes Denwyn's first ebike's motor, has now released their own hidden wire shift sensor and controller. I'll get a sample to see how good it is.

    Theresa May,the Dictator...

that's the best Hammond could do under the circumstance. Whichever way you look at brexit, there will be an economic cost to break away from the EU. Give Mrs May some slack, she may square the circle. (or May not and leave it to the next parliament)

    Electric Bike for disabled man

in case you wonder why I said take it into the street before plugging in the throttle, it's because the EAPC regulations allow the user to plug in a thottle to a bike, not the manufacturers. The user has to have a bike first, that is to put the e-bike into circulation before adding the throttle.
