Full suspension semi recumbent for long journey

I would agree what they say in the video about more power from the forward kick position. On a upright if you want to add more power you can use your weight by standing up, on a recumbent you push harder. As a rower that works really well for me. So well that I am about to fit an accessory to...

In-line brake cable sensors any good?

Because most new bikes now come with hydraulic disks maybe? The cheap ones that don't are hardly worth fitting a motor to. All the cheapo Chinese "dumped" supermarket special <600€ e-bikes have V-brakes fitted, some even have branded ones! The best braking system for a bike used on the road is...

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

Seems there has been a huge positive advertising campaign on pedelecs.co.uk for them :D I have tried running my 36v controller at 49v and it gets hot and bothered... Runs fine on the flat but as soon as the Amps go over 600 the thermal cutout kicks in. It is in a box so I will try with a heat...

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

I'm busy deciding between the German welder kit or the Korean one... Mine will go in custom built casing, the first will be a 3P10S 12 Ah 36v battery for Number Two and the Mxus rear hub.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

It is just that I have friends who just got back from a 2 week holiday. They are more into the alternative lifestyle so were not looking at Greece from a 3 star hotel room and they were shocked by how bad things are for ordinary people. We all know the debt was created by govt. over borrowing...

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

375€ for enough cells to make a 20 Ah 12S (44.4v) battery, I don't find that particularly expensive. 309€ for 30Q cells 381€ Multistar LiPo All of the above are 15 Amp discharge

    36v 500w vs 52v 1500w

No, but you are not lengthening the life of your battery. My LiPo cells are charged to 4.15v and discharged to 3.65v (per cell) and despite using them for quite some time now (over 2 years for the multistar) show no sign of degradation. You can treat your Li-Ion cells the same way and they will...

    Upgrade to BBSHD?

Not dished enough I guess but it makes you use your gears like you should be doing. I have a 2 x 7: - all 7 gears are usable from the small chainwheel - the top 4 gears are available for the big one This works really well, on the road with a HD you will only ever need to be in the top 4 gears...

    Bafang loom and shift sensor

The number of PAS magnets means the slightest of pressure on the pedals with BBS0x and clones = power. I wouldn't want that on a 1000W motor or even a 250W motor...
