    Impulse buy

Thanks guys. Got them fitted without too many problems. The pipe for the front brake is a little tight. Is it a big job to fit a new one. I assume that if I had brake levers with sensors I would need to do that. I have kept the sensor cables in situ. Other option is to switch front brake to left??.

    Impulse buy

Just got a pair of Clarke hydraulic brakes on impulse. Local shop selling up and seamt a good price. Two questions . Will I need to get cut off brake levers. Would I be wise to replace the rotors or will the ones from the Tektro mechanical discs be ok. Thanks for any advice

Going electric, too lazy to pedal

Only ever use my throttle to get moving for a couple of yards or if I need to get across road quickly

    fly protector

Yes they are the ones. I have the usual buff type protectors but too warm. I have found a bit of lightweight mesh from one of those outdoor pop up fly cover things (which was conveniently broken). Will try and bodge something together.

    fly protector

Would definitely work SW but a bit over engineered for my type of riding

    fly protector

might seem a bit trivial but does anyone know of something available to keep the pesky flies out of the mouth. On the trails where I ride it's very easy to get a mouthful. Was thinking maybe a lightweight mesh mouth cover.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There seems to be an attitude in this country that it's everybody's elses responsibility to do something. I put this down to the nanny state telling us what to eat/drink/think how to speak what to like/not like etc. This seems to have removed the need for people to think for themselves

They should have voted then. Maybe it wouldn't be changing.

    Spoke key

Got a couple of spokes that need tweaking a bit. Got a 3way key from Halfords. Doesn't fit. Biggest one is 3.5. Seems that I need something closer to 4mm. Several on eBay but are sized 10 to 15 gauge. Would one of those do the job?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Simple fact is that the referendum was done in such a slapdash and incompetent manner is because Cameron expected it to be a walkover for Remain. I think that it should have been done with a qualifying percentage, but it wasn't. All the quoting of statistics about how many voted just smacks of...

    eZee Forza review

Very nice constructive and informative posts. Your bike is set up very similarly to my Freego Eagle, even down to the little bag on the crossbar and Marathon plus tour tyres. I have just fitted a Suntour NCX12 seat post. I don't use mine for commuting as retired now, just for leisure. Looking at...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes Flecc it is a bit of a silly comparison in terms of objectives, but the methods they use bear similarities. Do as we say or else you will suffer. I am not totally convinced that they have citizens interests at heart if it affects the superstate dream. Look at the suffering in the southern...
