    Brexit, for once some facts.

You spelt it wrong OG. I said capitulist not capitulis. I realise that this is not a correct word, but I was trying to say to capitulate. All a bit academic, but it doesn't really matter.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG didn't say capitalist. Said capitulist,. I'm sure you know what I mean. This thread has been going on for a long time now and I don't know if you have posted one positive comment about the country the government or the future. Anyway stay happy

Help! Please help me buy a commuter bike :)

Have a good look round . For the distance you are quoting almost any reasonable ebike will do the trick. Most are fairly reliable. Juicybikes are good and Woosh have some that will suit. I would suggest hydraulic brakes, purely for the less maintenance aspect. Marathon plus tyres are good for...

    Hydraulic Disc brakes

I bought a pair of Clarke's exo skeleton for £25 from a local shop selling up. Only entry level but far superior to the Tektro novella cable discs

more cycle shops now selling ebikes

I think the tide is definitely turning. I have seen them in places where I wouldn't expect to. When speaking to staff they invariably say they are selling well

    Help me choose please!

I've had a Freego Eagle for 5 years now and never had a problem with it. It's the 16ah battery and I still get around 30 miles (not dared to go any further). The motor is not spectacular and now a bit weak on some hills, but that is probably down to the battery, but for general use in not too...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I thought all the remainers were saying she didn't have a mandate, and not just on here so why now that she is asking for it are you still opposed. I think Sturgeon was one making that point and now she's whining like an old ebike motor

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That's a pity. We need a good opposition so the government can't walk all over us. Look what happened with Blair??

    Impulse buy

Been asking around a few bike shops about changing hose. Really expensive. £15 to £20 for bleeding and then cost of parts so looks like I need to find a new brake. Any recommendations.

Options for transporting ebike by car

I use this one https://www.pfjones.co.uk/bosal-compact-premium-folding-cycle-carrier-070-442.html Has gone up a lot in price but very good rack. Can carry 60kilo and stores in a bag. As you say it does become expensive but gives peace of mind
