    I have just fitted hydraulic brakes to my Freego. Didn't refit cut offs and haven't missed them. I read somewhere that for a normal 250w motor it was safe to do so

    Spares

    Just been for a ride and part way round realised that my mudguard was loose, the bolt having fallen out. Didn't have replacement. In future I will carry a small selection of nuts and bolts/ cable ties etc.
