    Rent an E-Bike for £40 a month

Hmm companies house searches don't fill me with confidence tbh as one directors previous involves a car hire scheme that was compulsorily dissolved and a other IT related venture currently now in liquidation After a failed CVA

The lack of step through is nothing compared to illegality of a public scheme!

    700c hybrid suspension fork

Oh and I have never owned a full suspension! But my mtb with front suss and suntour does me fine. Even off road

    700c hybrid suspension fork

That's something I haven't considered tbf My gut says a fork would be better I can't get bigger tyres on front currently either sadly

    700c hybrid suspension fork

I love my 700c hybrid commuter but I hate the lack of a suspension fork. Can I get any 700c suspension forks for less than 75 quid (disc compatible a must)? My forks are cheapo alu and the worst component on my bike by a mile I have a suss post BTW (suntour one) but my wrists ask for front...

Help! Complete Newbie - Advice needed.

Nothing I've ever seen folds quite like a brommie tbh And as mentioned they are difficult though not impossible to covert. They also hold their value like few other bikes I'm aware of

Oh and just noticed you want a trail capable machine too Tbh that's just too many compromises in one bike Let's see the actual milage you are going to need commuting wise But I suspect Im gonna recommend a standard Brompton for commuting and a full sized ebike for weekends and trails

Welcome. It's pretty easy requirements..... Until you get to the fokding/busy commuter bit. You have to be careful. It's a been a few years since I commuted that way but it was pretty much a Brompton or nothing to fold small enough for certain train line rules at peak times. How many actual...

Battery repair, how daft is this?

I've a one year old 17.5ah pack of mji cells. The pack I sourced welded but without BMS or a case I could use. So I added a BMS, kapton taped and shrink wrapped, then it went in a frame bag. Water ingress has fried cell string 9. A neat take down as both 8 and 10 remain perfect. They test at...

    Frame size

I'd second this. I find I like them a bit "too big" . Folks torso, legs and general physiology means that one 5 ft 10 person prefers one size and another of same height prefers another

Its started, another hobby (said the wifeee)

21 grandkids! I'm amazed you could afford the 75 quid ;) But welcome and I hope you can get the bike running again swiftly

    Rear view camera

If I was going to though tech at this issue (I wouldn't BTW, the mirror is king herre) I'd have thought a small camera under the saddle linked to smartphone would better. Fewer wires, far superior screens as a general rule which will auto adapt to lighting conditions (insofar as is possible)
