@Mych Are you talking about more grip, or puncture resistance? I ride pretty much the same terrain that you're referring to, and my Schwalbe Marathon GT 365's are a nice all-rounder with good puncture resistance.

Wax them, don't shave, it'll be smoother and last longer! That man strength Veet hair remover does work, but it's not so good if your hair is thick.

You've got to scout the web all year round and catch the bargains when you can, even if you don't particularly need that item at the time. I've never paid anywhere near 50 quid for an 8 speed EcoPro Teq chain!

Were you aiming that at soundwave, coz I only pay around 12 quid for the chain and no more than 10 quid for a big bottle of lube.

I use a dry lube, same as soundwave, but use Finish Line instead of Muc Off. Also, my chain is a KMC EcoPro Teq, so it doesn't rust after a quick rinse with the hose.

Wow, you must have read my mind, coz I was going to post exactly the same thread the other day. At the moment I'm hosing down the drivetrain after every ride, allowing it to dry in the sun and lubing every 2-3 washes. Every 200 or so miles, I deep clean with one of those mechanical chain...

No, If it's showing the same symptoms after a good charge, then It's not a charger issue. I'm out of ideas, but I'm sure someone will be along soon to offer suggestions.

You said it's doing the same thing on your husband's bike, so it's probably battery related. Batteries usually have some kind of output protection, which should protect it from overload/short circuit, so I'm not convinced your bike has damaged the battery. A fuse usually pops, or the BMS cuts...

Try charging your new battery with your husband's charger.

Did the new battery come with a new charger, or are you using the charger from the old battery?
