Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I thought category B drivers can drive petrol/diesel vans up to 3.5T and electric vans up to 4.5T.
The idea is to allow up to 1T of battery weight for the same load carrying capacity. Potentially, electric vans can carry up to a tonne more if your battery pack weighs less than a tonne.
Have I got it wrong?
The problem is that the very popular large vans like Renault Master and Mercedes Sprinter become too heavy when you fit a battery to them, so they come under HGV class. Now, you have to MOT them after one year, not three, and you can't find an MOT station qualified to do the MOT on them.

Nobody was buying them , anyway, so the dealers pre-registered them to meet their EV targets. Now they have them in stock one year old, and nobody can buy them because you can't legally use them. You can only drive one direct to an MOT station then home. If you want one for your Woosh business, you can buy them brand new with a 70% discount!

The vindictive lunatic goes further -

Trump imposes sanctions on officials at the International Criminal Court.

For anybody, who has an electric car, these are a very useful accessory. They can be installed in the boot, under the vehicle or on a towball rack. there are other options if you need higher voltage:

If your concience won't allow the use of an IC engine, there's another choice:

This response is a classic example of what is called 'deflection'.

Deflection is a tactic used in arguments to avoid criticism or blame by shifting the focus to another person or issue. It's a psychological defence mechanism that people use to protect themselves from uncomfortable challenges.
1. It is entirely irrelevant
2. I supplied both left and right wing references to Trump's action
3. It has no relevance to the matter raised

You might have as well asked, 'Do you beat your wife?'

Maybe this link is one you might actually consider opening:

Can you point me at your source for the deflection definition? Could be useful in a situation I'm involved in.

It's just a question. What's the answer then?

Yes. It's been done for at least 5 decades. Nothing sinister in that. Governments pay subscriptions in place of direct grants to help with costs to generate content for public good. It's a tiny fraction of the budget, it doesn't cover the entire beneficiaries ' own costs.

The question is irrelevant to the discussion. A variery of sources reported the irrational decision. I posted links to them. The relevant matter is that Trump has placed sanctions on people who work for the International court which investigates and holds to account international criminals like Putin and Netanyahu. THAT is the issue, NOT one of the news organisations who reported Trump's actions.

I'm surprised you are so interested in something else that is not connected.

Yes - it is a question, but it is a deflection.

How would you handle it then, when you know that there's corruption in these government agencies, you stood for election on the promise of sorting it out, and got democratically voted in by a large margin?

you make a pig's ear out of it, declaring that all the old institutions are a waste of money. All we need is a sovereign fund.
Just wait until the fund buy into the billionaires stocks and Trump's meme coin.

What corruption do you know of at the International Criminal Court?

What corruption do you know of related to the prosecutors, Karim Khan, and Fatim Binsouda?

All I know is that they issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu over the killing of tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians. They also issued arrest warrants against Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Al- Masri, and Ismail Haniyeh of HAMAS over the murder of Israeli civilians.

EDIT:

By the way - you refer to 'government agencies', and corruption. I am talking about the ICC, based in Brussels. This was what was mentioned in the post you replied to. Were you responding to my post or something else?
