The problem is that the very popular large vans like Renault Master and Mercedes Sprinter become too heavy when you fit a battery to them, so they come under HGV class. Now, you have to MOT them after one year, not three, and you can't find an MOT station qualified to do the MOT on them.I thought category B drivers can drive petrol/diesel vans up to 3.5T and electric vans up to 4.5T.
The idea is to allow up to 1T of battery weight for the same load carrying capacity. Potentially, electric vans can carry up to a tonne more if your battery pack weighs less than a tonne.
Have I got it wrong?
Where's that then?...you can buy them brand new with a 70% discount!

1. It is entirely irrelevantDeflection is a tactic used in arguments to avoid criticism or blame by shifting the focus to another person or issue. It's a psychological defence mechanism that people use to protect themselves from uncomfortable challenges.
Can you point me at your source for the deflection definition? Could be useful in a situation I'm involved in.This response is a classic example of what is called 'deflection'.
1. It is entirely irrelevant
2. I supplied both left and right wing references to Trump's action
3. It has no relevance to the matter raised
