Whoa there! I didn't know these pages were still active on our present site, I thought they were long gone. I've turned them off now. We're moving over to an all-new website platform soon and there'll be no references on there at all. We still receive calls about eZee bikes and cheerfully pass customers on to Onbike for new batteries, etc. Most of them seem to be running well after all these years but the number of bikes we had to replace for people when we were selling them was crazy.
50cycles,

Thank you for removing the offending pages, but you still cannot resist making a critical comment in your final sentence.

The pages were clearly created in the first instance to malign a competitors product and no doubt due to the breakdown in the relationship between 50cycles and eZee.
In my opinion, this was nothing less than unethical and childish behaviour.

How odd that you never have a look at your own website! Those pages (which should never have been put up in the first place) have been there for years, and you never noticed? Do me a favour. If you think that anybody believes that, you obviously have as low an opinion of your potential customers as of the products you used to sell.

Those are all clearly redirect sites to their products, of the kind that Wisper suffered from until they had them removed from the 50cycles site.

It's a very offensive and underhand way to trade, as well as being a deceitful misuse of search engines.

Are 50 cycles members of BEBA? If not, maybe something to consider if you are looking for a new bike.......

Hi Eddie,
I doubt if they could become members, they would have to conform to the core values of what is a self regulatory trade body.
See No. 4 on the following page about us

Get your handbags out!
Come on now this thread should be put away until next year. There was something wrong with it anyway because the Cyclamatic is the Bike of the Year 2011, but the votes didn't show it. Who's got the plaque? I need to get it engraved before they put the wrong name on it.

No way! :D. Needed too much done to it first to be in contention, plus some batteries failed early. Most affordable e-bike of the year definitely.

Similar the Tonaro, the very good support hid the fact of the quality control problems. Most affordable crank drive e-bike of the year though.

I'd struggle to nominate anything the overall e-bike of the year 2011, it will hopefully be easier this year.

Dunno?

If so, perhaps it didn't win this time because it had been found out! ;)

Definitely not worth buying a Bosch powered bike now then!
Ha ha ha! but the Bosch bikes perform better then both the 26v and new 36v Panasonic bikes, from feed back on German forum. They are also lighter with a normal wheelbase and a hell of a lot cheaper!......They have no competition these days;)

Saying that Kalkhoff are proper bikes, and at these discount prices I dont really understand why people buy horrible and heavy old Chinese bikes that look like over sized children's toys:confused:
