I agree many should be sacked and even prosecuted, but hung from nearest lamp post? No.
Strange isn't it. We all think world should be cleaner, less violent and more caring but all of us see it as somebody else's responsibility to change. Yes, we want less plastic waste, less air pollution, less violence but also insist on our foreign holidays, food wrapped in plastic, big cars and to just carry on insulting and name calling. Always, somebody else must change. Not me.
Am I forgiven your grace?
Got rid of big car and caravan
No more Foreign Holidays.

I reckon such sacrifice entitles me me to call Torys Fascists scum, in fact after yesterdays debacle and Boris indicating the man of the moment had been volunteered as a Human Sacrifice to save his ample backside, I'm going with Cowardly back stabbing scum. (respectfully of course)

I accept your confession. 3 hail Marys should suffice after each indiscretion.
Go with God my son.
Nobody is perfect.
Perhaps you might try to narrow your insults down to less than 40% of country tho.. I actually agree some Tories behave like Fascists...in reality that doesn't mean either they are fascists or, more importantly, all Tories are.

Can I go with Offler the Crocodile God that you sacrifice fried sausages to?

Offler get the rising holy essence of the sausages and the supplicant gets to eat their mortal remains.
(That's why frying sausages always smell better than they taste!)

Now that's proper worship for you!

In a less flippent manner...
This Patterson bloke has done wrong, obviously. The system is wrong and he has taken advantage but... The situation has probably cost him his wife's life, his career and his reputation. And, personally, don't think any of his actions justify calling him a fascist... He has taken advantage, he has lined his nest. He has and is suffering for it and he isn't the first and won't be last MP to take advantage... Tory or Labour.
It should be his actions we criticise and not his political persuasion.
The MPs fraudulent claims scandal was equally distributed amongst the lot of them.

The word "probably" is working awfully hard in that post of yours..he has done all of this, entirely, to himself.

The probably was around his wife's suicide. Nobody knows exactly why she chose to kill herself... The situation was all his own doing, agreed.
He has suggested his wife's state of mind was "probably" caused by investigation.
But the point is how does labelling him "a fascist" help. It simply serves to give cause for the less restrained, less informed amongst us to carry out stupid acts. (like attacking his office and threatening his colleagues, which has happened today) Hardly helpful.
We should be labelling those turning to violence as fascist thugs. Calling MPs "fascist Tories" is simply justifying their thuggish behaviour. (In my humble reverent opinion of course)

You don't seem to grasp the larger picture about fascism do you? this cabal are replaying 1930's Germany right before your eyes, and just like the German Public back then you are pretending nothing sinister is happening .
It most certainly is, the parallels are not mere coincidence.
Where the political persuasion is fascist it has to be destroyed, not excused,
and they are not above staging anti social actions to discredit innocent people

£70.

In the eyes of a GP Doctor, this is the figure that makes COVID go away and allows them to come out of hiding see you.

Just paid 70 quid for my wife to see a doctor. None of them at the local surgery are seeing patients due to coronavirus. The health care system is totally fu(ked.

No, OG, I, m afraid I don't see the parallels. We haven't had a Crystalnacht, we still have a democracy, but without a viable 2nd party. We aren't looking for extra living room, we aren't expelling Jews and closing down Jewish businesses. We aren't embarking on secret arms development to avoid scrutiny, we aren't brain washing our youth...
Perhaps you, d like to expand on your claim.

Our Government has its faults. It is not a fascist regime at all.

The issue about his wife is significant. But there are many who would not have paraded it as appears to have happened.

He had every opportunity to go quietly. Which suggests that right up until today he could not see what was so questionable about his behaviour. Even now, did he go because he decided it was right to go now? Or did someone have a word with him?

Also, so much of this ended up as it did not because of what he did, but that so much of the tory party behaved so despicably.

He proclaimed he raised the issues for the benefit of the public. Many would have done so without expecting, or accepting, any payment. The other way of looking at it is to suggest that, without these payments, he wouldn't have cared a stuff about public interest.

I think you have become over excited and this in turn has led to a state of hysteria.

This government is deeply corrupt. As today’s events has shown, they aren’t even very good at doing corruption, so we can safely say they are a hopelessly incompetent, enveloped by the stench of wrongdoing and dishonesty.

They aren’t guilty of plotting the extermination of an entire race of people. Unlike the Nazis, our government isn’t clever enough to do that. They’d end up gassing themselves.

Told you all you should have gone with Jeremy Corbyn.

The Nazis managed to make some almost unbelievably stupid mistakes. To consider them as some sort of superman/ubermenschen intelligence and planning ability is to credit them with more than is right.
I think the Nazis were incredibly efficient and ingenious. Greed, infighting, vanity and all of the other inevitable human frailties were their downfall.

I don’t know in what way Jeremy Corbyn could have been worse. If I think of all the concerns I had about Corbyn, Johnson and his bunch of tosspots have exceeded all of my worst fears.

UK MHRA has approved Molnupiravir, an antiviral costing about £500 a course.
Molnupiravir? is that the new drug made by Merck??
Interestingly, the same company also created Ivermectin - the drug that has both antiparasitic AND antiviral properties.

Of course, despite there being a number of suspicious similarities in the way both of those are supposed to work, there are a couple of differences between them, the two most important ones being that:
1. Ivermectin is now out of patent, is mass produced, so only costs < £5 a course, not £500
2. Whatever they have done to make Molnupiravir different enough to enable a new patent to be applied, it appears to have made it LESS effective than Ivermectin - at least that's what the current clinical trial data is indicating!

I suppose there is a third, possibly equally important one as well (maybe even more so - we won't know for a number of years), and that is Ivermectin has been given literally Billions of times to humans over the course of many decades, and is now known to be one of the safest drugs ever created, while Molnupiravir has not as yet gone through trials, and will need to be issued under the Emergency Use Authorisation procedure. Therefore it is an experimental drug and anyone taking it will be part of a clinical trial.
