I think the ONS survey is better but still cannot be trusted.
I also agree with flecc that the number of covid deaths cannot be trusted but think that the number is roughly correct, just a case of lucky guess.
We have roughly 1,000 admissions a day into hospital for covid treatment, 9517 in hospital, you can at least say their stay is 9.5 days on average.
You can also say with relative certainty that if the number of people in hospital goes up then the Covid hits harder and if the number reaches 30,000 then we'll have lockdown and it's time to sell your shares.
