Look, if you have Coronavirus symptoms, it has always been stated that you must self isolate at home and not travel the length of the country. Stop being a dullard and understand.
What I believe will happen in time will be a kludge,as I indicated perhaps 18 months ago. The UK Revenue will supp!y NI companies with special transit documents, which will fast track anything originating in NI and going into mainland UK. Materials without this reference document or seal will be scrutinized in Belfast, or Liverpool or Holyhead etc.
The EU will insist that Ireland scrutinize anything leaving Irish ports destined for Cherbourg or Roscoff . Again Irish customs at our ports will fast track material originating in companies located in RoI ,and scrutinise anything without that seal of approval.
It leaves the entire Island of Ireland as a Freeport. The EU will have no difficulty in allowing EU goods circulate freely in Ireland, North or South. The EU will have only marginal difficulty with UK goods flooding the Irish market. .. There is a limit to our capacity for Walkers Chips or Marmite
