The choice was taken away by Corbyn, but amazingly he took it away from both sides of Brexit divide.
Tories united the leave vote. Corbyn split both.
I suggest you turn tele on and look whats happened.
It's all history now, so what is the point of this complaining? all is going as forecast way back, May's deal will make a come back and on the credit side Corbyn is gone and Labour home and dry from any blame, thanks to the public making an absolute fool of themselves voting for Boris.
They deserve the government they are going to get.
What more can you ask than that the most incompetent of the leave campaign villains is now in sole charge of steering the ship on state onto the rocks?
And waiting right behind him for the first misstep with a poisoned dagger will be Gove.

If some vengeful god had wanted to cripple any chance of Brexit working, it, he or she couldn't pick a bigger bunch of abject lunatics if they tried.

I really don't need to watch the TV to wallow in day one of a debacle.

Jesus OG. I, m putting you on ignore. FFS move on. Times have changed. He can get any deal he wants through. A majority of 78...He,s a Tory hero.
You are doing the labour trick. Just say same stuff. Again and again.
Listen to Maitlain now. An idiotic labour saying same things.
Touchy aren't you? and you really don't understand a word I say, so off you go if that's what suits you.

Its you not understanding whats happened and why. And yes, I am touchy. We, ve got a more right wing government than we, ve ever had with Labour totally decimated, every good policy labour could be introducing down the pan.
Labour (Kier Starmer) actually saying party needs a complete rebuild... And in meantime BJ goes on unhindered.
Yes, I, m well p! Ssed off. And I blame momentum, Corbyn, Abott and our excuse for a labour party. Its a fecking disgrace

Looks like the catalyst to brexit didn't do well at all

Lost all his battles but in a funny way won the war

Cummings and co are laughing all the way to the bank
even as the British union is splintering

Edit from the Torygraph

"Nigel Farage has said he will spend weeks next year as a warm-up speaker for Donald Trump’s campaign rallies"

“If I'm asked to help I may."

Poor Nigel
Dont think we have seen the last of Fromage, when trouble surfaces in the streets he will be back leading the charge and profiting thereby.

It's far from it. Croydon was in rather rural Surrey until London was enlarged by the Tories to become Greater London, in an attempt by gerrymandering to make London more Tory. That failed of course.

The central commercial district with it's many tower blocks is horrible, but most is very unlike that. I have on the west side woodlands and beyond that a golf course, on the east side a large nature reserve and a few yards to the south the Surrey border with country all the way to the south coast.

The below all taken from the windows of my ground floor flat. It's in the middle of a large housing estate, but you'd hardly know it looking out:

Sorry Zlatan I've better things to do than go down this path time will prove me right.
And the point that goes straight over your head is that with Labour in total disarray no matter how anything pans out Tories will be in power. They have just won a 79 majority after years of austerity, NHS struggling, education crumbling, social welfare at its worst ever, retirement age put up and the complete shambles of past 3 years at their feet. They can do as they wish irrespective of outcome totally because Labour are utterly unelectable.
And meantime folk are finding excuses for Labour's performance.

What odd judgment you have. That's exactly what Labour was promising. The Tories won't do it, they've had nine years in which they only reduced that investment.
.
Labour were promising massive borrowing and tens of thousands of million pound spend based on a 48 hour whim. Also unfair disproportionate taxation.

Those figures are wrong. They, the Tories have a majority of 40 . The outcomes are definite now, not speculation. To assume that the DUP will be in support of the Tories is fiction.

the figure is about right, the majority is number of tory MPs - the rest added together, 365 tory MPs-285=80.
Note the Speaker does not vote, SF aren't voting either, so it should be 88.

Labour took their blue collar votes for granted and spent hypothetical money on other social groups.
If they stuck to just re-nationalisation and the NHS, they might have not lost as much.

Ok, Johnson has a track record of lying. Let’s remain optimistic and see what happens.

I’m not over the moon with the GE result, but I am relieved that Corbyn isn’t going to steal my houses.

But they'd still have lost, just as I forecast long ago and mentioned above on this link

That is yet the same argument again and again. The Tories have won 40 more seats than the combined opposition. It assumes that they will always vote the same way, and that there will be no deaths or defections. The 40 seats can be eroded quickly . While SF have not yet taken their seats, and probably will not, there are possible circumstances where they might.
Now I think we can be assured that a version of the Withdrawal Agreement ,if submitted will pass in short order, and the UK moves onto Phase 2 ..the Transition phase in February. But then maybe not. He has the numbers now to just run the clock down, and hard Brexit in February. But assuming he passes the Withdrawal Agreement, and Phase 2 begins, he then has another deadline in June. Seek to extend the Transition Phase or let it run out in December 2020.

I heard a rumour from a good source that now that BJ has a significant majority, he's going to reverse the restrictive legislation and go for what's effectively a no-deal Brexit. At a minimum, after sorting out legislation, he's going to threaten the EU with a no-deal to secure much better terms than what's in the present one. Go Boris!

BTW, there's gold in those rocks he's steering us to.

No, they won 365, the rest adds up to 284 + the speaker's seat which was not contested.

Labour: 203
SNP: 48
LD: 11
DUP: 8
SF: 7
PC: 4
Green: 1
Independents: 2
Speaker:1

203+48+11+8+7+4+1+2+1 = 285

With his large majority, and after this win, which in reality JC, McCluskey, McDonell engineered, he will certainly be capable of big mistakes.
But lets give him a chance. He might surprise us, but then again he might shock us.
