His MPs are not all leavers, they simply sign up to support his brexit plan, whatever it is or will be until February.
Remainer tory MPs are still there but they won't vote against him.
ERG members are surprisingly quiet.
Their enemy is no longer Labour but soft brexiters.
One of good aspects is Boris wont need all the ERG to get stuff through. Could mean a softer Brexit. Perhaps the real BJ will now emerge. Lets hope its rather different.

That analysis is incorrect. Labour and Conservative party policies might be remain and leave, but it doesn't follow that all their voters are. Many people vote for a party for reasons other than Brexit.
you are hair splitting.
I accept that some tory voters are remainers and some Labour voters are leavers but by and large, they cancel each other's votes.
Professor John Curtice says the same on TV, that there is a remainers lead.

Professor Hugh Jardon says the opposite, and he's the one that's right.

Why can’t they understand, people just want more investment in public services, a fair and even increase in taxation to pay for it, if necessary.
What odd judgment you have. That's exactly what Labour was promising. The Tories won't do it, they've had nine years in which they only reduced that investment.

he's a much better educated version of DT, a natural stand up comedian and a career politician so who knows, he may get a good deal out of both the EU and the USA although I don't hold my breath.
My immediate fear of no deal on the first of Feb is now gone, I won't emigrate in March, but postpone it until end of the transition period, Jan 2021.

How bad as Corbyn got to be for him to lose Durham and Notting Hill? Wake up OG. This result is purely built on the total dislike of Corbyn and his utter ineptitude in eyes of highest majority for Tory in recent history.
Strange that in my constituency it's very different. We switched our Tory held always marginal seat into a massive 6000 majority Corbyn led Labour win last time, and that with a new untried candidate.

And this time we've repeated that 6000 majority over the Tories, despite any Corbyn effect.

It's Croydon Central if anyone doesn't believe me.

they overcooked the goose a bit - promising about 10 billions extra spending on each day of the campaign could have frightened some voters that they might be taxed to pay for Labour's promises.

And we'll get some form of Brexit done.
Despite the majority being against a Tory government Brexit.

Add up Labour, LibDem, and SNP votes and you'll see they had a clear large majority. The better system of proportional representation would have brought a very different outcome.

The country by a decisive margin wants to leave.
That's not true.

Its called democracy OG. The country by a decisive margin wants to leave. They have just supported Boris to do so. Thats why I said wake up.
And, no I dont blame leavers for voting to leave at all as you still do. I blame Labour for not accomodating the electorate and giving us strongest Tory govt since Thatcher. A government that could quite easily be more right wing than she was. Labour are a disgrace. They will never recover.
How on earth did Labour lose Durham. Think about it, instead of saying same old rubbish.
Time to move on OG. Think you made this post about 1000 times.
I’ll be the judge of that

OG demonstrating perfectly what is known in the trade as 'all-or-nothing' thinking. Reference to the use of 'everything'. Of course he has not failed in 'everything'.
Yet, his biggest disaster is yet to come, and will be very entertaining.

Get Alistair Campbell and Toniness back for goodness sake.
Blair and co would still have lost, both this time and in 2017.

As I pointed out very long ago in this thread, it was widely agreed that after the original SNP win to dominate Scottish seats, it would be very difficult for Labour ever to return to power in Westminster if the SNP stayed in power.

That's because Labour always heavily depended on the North of England and Scotland to offset the Tory south of England, and their party always reflected that. Blair's government was full of Scots from the chancellor down, and John Smith, his predecessor as Labour leader was a Scot in a Scottish seat.

This election result just underlines that, with the SNP again dominating in Scotland. They don't only keep out Labour, they also keep out the Tories, so nothing to do with either Corbyn or Johnson.

This is Labour's real long term problem whoever leads, and if Scotland ever wins independence it will become a permanent problem, only soluble with proportional representation.

Looks like the catalyst to brexit didn't do well at all

Lost all his battles but in a funny way won the war

Cummings and co are laughing all the way to the bank
even as the British union is splintering

Edit from the Torygraph

"Nigel Farage has said he will spend weeks next year as a warm-up speaker for Donald Trump’s campaign rallies"

“If I'm asked to help I may."

Poor Nigel

Never heard of it and who is Corbyn.
If Labour doesnt change we, ll be saying same about Party too.
Mr Johnson has just visited Queen, she, s asked him to form a government. This Mr Corbyn you mention, whoever he is, will probably be planning an allotment,in his pretend council house.

This is what your Labour has done. Given us most right wing government for 50 years with a 78 majority. Well done.
The small bits of red are Labour. The blue is Conservative.
But its Trump, Farage, Johnson, Murdock, Daily Mail, Russian Bots and Queenie to blame. Not momentum at all.
And this was Thatchers.

Johnson has actually gained in English heart land "labour" over Thatcher. She never got Rothervalley, Durham and many others. (I dont think she got Nottinghill but Johnson has)
All because of Corbyn.
