Definitely a significant day
John of Gaunt said it all
"That England, that was wont to conquer others,
Hath made a shameful conquest of itself."
For the purposes of Tax Dodgers and American corporate power, not for the good of the people.

I liked it best when he called that councillor a nazi and got sacked.

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2010/jul/13/jon-gaunt-talksport-high-court

We haven't had anyone on here calling people nazis for a while.

Sure we've had a few racists and brexidiots but we are sorely lacking when it comes to nazis.

Up your game remainists!

I can guarantee you that not one single Brexidiot on here will have looked at the bill and identified the advantages. There will still be idiots that want to get it done though.

Yet more evidence of the monumental stupidity of Brexit.

You've got to be some level of twat to have voted for it eh?

Especially when you got sucked in by the propaganda.

Durrrrr

Yes, I agree with all of that and I was a twat for voting to leave. However, you progress from the level of twat to ass-hole when you don't stop, look at what is happening, consider the evidence and make a better, more informed decision.

I can guarantee that you are still unable le to tell us all how the withdrawal bill will benefit us. I'll make it easy, give us your top 5 picks.

I honestly don't know.

I do know that it will allow us to make trade deals that are custom made to us.

It will take us out of the whimsy of the Euro where we have no influence anyway.

We will be able to spend the membership money on things we choose to spend it on.

We will be able to save industries that need state help far easier.

But these are just by products. I think the EU needs modernising. It's not fit for purpose. It's corrupt and works to old fashioned rules. We are not part of the Euro and until we are there is no point being in it. A trade deal, freedom of movement art, sport, entertainment and security deals will suffice for now.

I'm sorry you didn't actually have a belief system and just followed the shiny bus like a sheep but I voted out because I knew what I was voting for.

I get that may be above your brain but here we are.

Surely you do not believe any of that tripe?
Who is going to make better trade deal with us than we already have?
We chose not to change to the Euro
The membership money is peanuts , saving that we lose a vastly greater sum derived from EU membership
Save industries? who is going to do that? Nobody is the answer
And State aid for industries was possible in the EU too
How can you say the EU is corrupt and needs modernising compared with the Loony bin we have here? get real!
And lets get this straight, not only did you NOT know what you were voting for, you voted for WHAT YOU WANTED.
Try hard to understand, you are not going to get whatever you wanted
And you are still unable to see you've been mugged.

The last line of your post applies to you

"I get that may be above your brain but here we are."

By the way, how far have you got reading through the deal to see if you are going to get what you voted for?

And here is a genuine Brexidiot

Verily it is hard to drain the swamp while up to your wedding tackle in alligators

This bill wants throwing out when people are not prepared to even read it assuming they already know what it means, because they have been waffling for three years on the subject
No , no, no.

I am neither supporting or writing off BJ's deal, I, m criticizing all of them for this situation and especially so Bercow for stopping vote on deal. Chances are it would have failed. I don't think it helps when leader (I use the word sarcastically) of opposition writes off the deal before he, s read it, or as someone on here suggested he knew all about it through twitter.
I wonder if Bercow would stop a vote on ref 2? That's been debated already.
Bercow is showboating. In some ways delaying vote is helping Boris.

I trust you are not referring to me with that jibe?
this is fact is my source of information

The Government
I suggest you read it instead of doing what the Mp did, discussing something you know nothing about.

I was neither having a go at you or discussing the deal. I was saying Bercow is a fool and stopping or delaying vote has not helped either side.
It has simply prolonged the stupid argument, which some seem to revel in. If EU grant another extension we could go on like this for another 3 years. I was hoping they wouldnt, but it looks like their imovable stand point.... has moved.Oh what a surprise. They do want their cash and a deal then.

Part of the reason you are so correct is because of the attitudes of so many of our politicians.
Can you imagine the MD of a major company, a top judge, leading surgeon actually behaving like these idiots actually whilst doing their jobs. Pretty sure I, d have been sacked for doing anything like this whilst leading a meeting. Perhaps its normal behaviour for you Wicky. Perhaps I, ve got old.
Wonder what young Benn thought of it. Then again perhaps he was asleep like Abbott was other day or lazing around with his feet up as Smog was. Its a fecking disgrace.

This lot are all earning a fortune, feathering their nests and are totally incapable of doing their jobs. Not just Bercow, all of them. What do we do. Support the stupid feckers saying what we want to hear. Corbyn is a joke, Boris is a disgrace, Bercow an imbecile. I wouldnt trust any of them to do any task demanding thought, care and responsibility. None of them have any talent or ethics. They are all out for themselves. Every last one of them.
If there are any positives to last 3 years the main one has been the education we, ve all had at the sheer incompetence of those ruling us.
Tell me one you, d trust to act as your solicitor. Imagine Bercow being the head of your grand kids school. Or Boris being your doctor? Or Corbyn being your accountant? Feck me.You, d be locked up, your kids would be wild, you, d be ill all time, probably dying, and bankrupt.
If I went to buy a car off any of them I, d walk away. But here they are. The most powerful people in our country, baying at each other, doing mime, falling asleep lazing about, arguing and getting nowhere.
But, hey, dont knock Bercow. He, s a remainer.
I'm stating the obvious, but bercow is also protecting due democratic process and preventing a cartel from railroading through legislation to do to the uk what thatcher did to financial services.

Bojo threatens MPs with new election, ie they'll lose their current job if they vote him down with his 3-day timetable to 'get brexit done'.

Which way do you think MPs will vote?
